This streaming era has made it easier to find long out of print albums, or albums that were never released in the US. Not everything that has been released is out there, though. On this episode I discuss some of the albums missing from streaming, and what I think is the reason they are missing.
On this episode I talk through a hypothesis of mine...that the 3rd album is often the most important in an artist's career.
So...it's been a minute. But I'm coming back.
Yeah, yeah, yeah...I know this is late. I told you I had a back-log of reviews I was going to bring you. LOL
This album did get brought back into the limelight recently when it was nominated for Album of the Year at this year's Grammy Awards. (The first nomination ABBA ever received!)

Relaunching 10/3
A compilation series with "Hits" of the day started to be released in 1998 in the US. Now! That's What I Call Music has continued to release new editions several times a year, also spawning spin off series.
On this episode, I (Trick) look at the second one released in 1999 and see how the songs hold up. (Pretty darned well to be honest...)

1I know...I know...This is a weird one. But little elementary school Trick listened to this album all the time. It had a big influence on my musical taste and gave me a window to explore other genres and bands.

On this week's Quickie Tricky I talk about The Gold Experience by The Artist Formerly Known as Prince
This album ended up in the news this week due to a possible settlement with the Prince estate related to a plagiarism case.
I love this album, even though it isn't perfect.
