Breaking The 4th Wall

In this episode I provide commentary on Shining City by Conor McPherson. A play that tells the story of an ex-priest turned therapist who is struggling with his identity and sexuality, as well as helping a man who is seeing the ghost of his ex-wife.

Today we are covering Speed of Darkness by Steve Tesich. A play about a Vietnam War vet who has yet to face his past until he's forced to when his estranged friend from the war comes into town.

This episode is very personal to me, because this play is very personal to me. Trigger warning: this play takes about death and loss, and if you have recently lost someone in your life it may be difficult to listen to.
