All Intros, Outros, and drops were AI-generated by SUNO Leave your questions at: Leave a Voice Message Leave your smack talk at: MULCommishReport@Gmail.com Football Trivia  The Steelers became the fifth team since 2000 to win multiple games in a season without scoring a touchdown, joining the 2000 Ravens, 2000 Titans, 2002 Buccaneers, and 2016 Rams. The Ravens and Titans both made the playoffs in 2000, with the Ravens winning the Super Bowl, the Bucs also won the Super Bowl the year they did this, and the Rams were the odd one out, going 4-12 with two of their wins coming as a result of three field goals.   Non-Football Trivia - Pronounced tur-duhk-uhn, a turducken is a deboned chicken stuffed inside a deboned duck stuffed inside a mostly deboned turkey (its wings and legs are left intact). There’s usually stuffing inside the chicken and between each bird.  It’s the ultimate poultry dish.  It’s widely believed that Louisiana chef Paul Prudhomme invented this extravagant dish in the 1970s or 1980s. He trademarked the name in 1986 and served it at his southern restaurant, K-Paul’s Louisiana Kitchen.   Madden first had the Turducken, not on Thanksgiving, but on Dec 1, 1996, during a game between the Rams vs Saints. The following year in 1997, was the first time he mentioned it on a Thanksgiving day game, not only showing the dish but eating it with his bare hands!!!  The six legs of the Turducken also allowed Madden to give one to each O-lineman after a game! If you really want crazy, get the rôti sans pareil—the roast without equal—created by French gastronomist Alexandre Balthazar Laurent Grimod de la Reynière in the 1807 cookbook L'almanach des gourmands. Rôti sans pareil stuffs 17 birds inside each other: a bustard, chicken, duck, garden warbler, goose, guinea fowl, lapwing, lark, ortolan bunting, partridge, pheasant, plover, quail, teal, thrush, turkey, and woodcock ... plus all this other stuff including an olive stuffed with an anchovy stuffed with a single caper, plus pork stuffing—it's ridiculous!

In 1952, Disney produced a cartoon called “Trick or Treat” featuring Donald Duck and his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, and since then, it as been the standard greeting for trick and treating. Football Trivia - it has happened a 7 times that a time has had the number one pick in back to back years.   1939//40 the Chicago Cardinals (now in Arizona) took Ki Aldrich and Geroge Cafego 1976/77 the expansion Tampa Bay Buccaneers took Ley Roy Selsom and Ricky Bell. 1986/87 the Bucs did it again drafting Bo Jackson (who never played a down for them, insulted by their offer when to baseball) and Vinny Testaverde 1994/95 the Bengals add to the party picking Dan Wilkinson and Ki-Jana Carter  1999/2000 the expansion Cleveland Browns took Tim Couch and Courtney Brown 2017/18 the Browns again, with Myles Garrett and Baker Mayfield 2021/22 the Jacksonville Jaguars go with Trevor Lawrence and Travon Walker.

The Raiders QB Andrew Walter only managed 4.3 yards an attempt as well in a game with 7 turnovers. 3.     Nix’s win this weekend was the lowest of all, with a measly 2.4 yards an attempt Five quarterbacks have won this way twice, including Farve, Bledsoe, Brad Johnson, Jim Miller, and Mike McMahon. The Bears have done it the most, four times! Cincinnati has done it twice, both times against the Browns. He threw 79 TDs and 85 Int’s with a whopping 14 returned for TDs.  Harrington, from Oregon University, was the 3rd pick in the 1st round by the Lions and spent most of his career with them.  He currently works for FOX as a college football analyst.   The bottom 10 is 1.    Harrington 69.4 2.    Mark “butt fumble” Sanchez 73.2 3.    Vinny Testaverde 74.0 4.    Vince Young 74.4 5.    David Carr 74.9 6.    Chad Henne 76.1 7.    Kerry Collins 77.0 8.    Jay Fiedler 77.1 9.    John Kitna 77.5 10.   Jake Plummer 77.6

Intro music and drops by SUNO.com Leave your questions at: Leave a Voice Message Leave your smack talk at: MULCommishReport@Gmail.com Trivia (yes, it's hard; yes, it's football): The Steelers' Chris Boswell (K) scored all 18 of his team's points Sunday on field goals and got off a 40-yard or more punt. How long has it been since that happened?  Maybe keep Saquon next time. Giants quarterback Danial Jones has thrown 3 pick sixes compared to 2 TDs since signing a four-year, 160 million-dollar contract. Remember the Titans? - The Bears' win over the Titans was the first time a team with less than 150 yards total offense had returned from a 17-point deficit. Just skip to week three - The Patriots' win over the Bengals on opening day was the largest upset in six years. The Pats were 7.5-point underdogs.  The Bengals are 1-10 under Zac Taylor in the year's first two games and 41-37-1 every other week… Young and Younger… - Mike Macdonald is now the youngest coach in the league at 38 years old.  Sean McVey (Miami’s own), despite being a head coach for eight years, is still the second youngest coach in the league, only six months older than Macdonald. Scorigami!!! - 49ers 32 Jet 19 That's Scorigami!! It's the 1085th unique final score in NFL history.  If you want to learn more about Scorigami - https://nflscorigami.com/ Trivia Answer – it has been 48 years since a player scored every point for his team.  It’s only happened seven times since 1960.  Dave Green did it for Tampa Bay in 1976 (the year they went 0-14), where he was 3-4 on field goals and punted five times for a 40-yard average.  He was a punter who also kicked field goals, went to Athens High School (same as Joe Burrow) and Ohio University, and played six years in the NFL; his one winning season as a pro came in Cincinnati as well.

CMC one of the few – Christian McCaffrey scored his 50th rushing touchdown this week.  He also has 27 career receiving touchdowns, making him one of only three players ever to do that.  The others?  Hall of Famers Marshall Faulk and Lenny Moore. Belichick heading for a bad record – The Patriots are now 2-10, the first time they have had double-digit losses since Belichick's first season in New England.  If he finishes with three or few wins, he will tie the record for worst season ever by a coach who won Super Bowl, tying Tom Landry, who was 3-13 in 1988, Landry’s last year.  Belichick is also three losses away from the all-time record 165, held by Jeff Fisher and Dan Reeves.  Commanders get blown out. The Commanders gave up 45 points to the Dolphins, marking the second straight week that they surrendered at least 45 points. Washington has only given up 45 points in consecutive games one other time in franchise history, and that came all the way back in 1954. Football Trivia Answer – Three…they have only had three.  Starting in 1969, the Pittsburgh Steelers have had only three coaches, all of whom won Super Bowls.  Chuck Noll had four, and Bill Cowher and Mike Tomlin each had one.  The next team with the fewest head coaches is Seattle, with 7…but they only started in 1976.  For the home team, the Bengals have had ten coaches since 1969, and tied for the most are the Arizona Cardinals and New York Jets with 17, with the Bills close behind with 15.  Pop Culture Trivia – There have been 33 official Marvel movies, with around 11 more in development or shooting right now!  This does not count five Spider-Man movies, two Hulk and Fantastic Four movies, or the various other films made by other studios, or the number would be much higher!
Intro/Outro music by Scott Holmes - Upbeat Party Leave your questions at: Leave a Voice Message Leave your smack talk at: MULCommishReport@Gmail.com Instagram @mulcommishreport303 League walk on music credits:  T&F - All Good Things -  For The Glory  S&F - Imagine Dragons - Believer  R&B - The Score - Legend  Hurts hurts the Bills and sets a record - This was Hurts' 11th career game with multiple rushing touchdowns, breaking a tie with Cam Newton for the most such games by a quarterback in NFL history.  Hurts has 11 rushing touchdowns on the season, marking his third consecutive campaign with double-digit rushing touchdowns. No other quarterback in NFL history has had 10-plus rushing touchdowns in even two consecutive seasons.   T.J. Watt is in a league of his own with multi-sack games - In a win that will be remembered as the day the Steelers finally totaled 400 yards of offense, Watt recorded two-plus sacks for the 20th time in his career (the most in the NFL since 2017).  Watt has now played in 98 career games and has 91.0 sacks to his name. Only one other player (since sacks started being recorded in 1982) has brought down opposing quarterbacks at least 90 times within his first 100 games -- Hall of Famer Reggie White, who had 105.0 career sacks in his first 100 games.   Bland sets INT record - During Thanksgiving, Cowboys cornerback DaRon Bland set an NFL record with his fifth interception return for a touchdown. He surpassed Eric Allen, Ken Houston, and Jim Kearney, who had four interception returns for a touchdown in a season.   Football Trivia - if you are a Bears fan, avert your eyes.  The Bears are the only team that has never had a 4,000-yard passer.  The closest the Bears have come was in 1995(!) when Erik Kramer threw for 3,838 yards with 29 TDs, leading the Bears to a 9-7 record.  It was the only year of his career where he played a full season.  Kramer has had a problematic post-playing career, suffering from depression and the suicide of a son, as well as attempting suicide himself. He is now an advocate for mental health and released a book about his life this month that has been very well-reviewed.  Pop-Culture Trivia - It’s been 23 years since Hallmark released its first original Christmas movie: “The Christmas Secret,” starring Beau Bridges and Richard Thomas, about a professor who sets out to prove that reindeer can fly and then meets Santa.  This year, there are 42 Christmas movies on the channel, which joins 21 more on the rival Great American Family.  There are rumors that a second plot for the films have been developed, but that is unconfirmed at this time.

Good luck “Chase” ing him - Ja’Marr Chase got behind the Texans defense on second-and-12 at the end of the third quarter, making a 64-yard house call to get the Bengals their first touchdown since the opening drive of the game.  That score was the seventh of Chase's career to go for at least 60 yards.  Chase has the second-most receiving touchdowns of 60-plus yards by a player age 23 or younger, trailing only fellow LSU prodigy Odell Beckham Jr.  Beckham had eight receiving touchdowns of at least 60 yards before he turned 24 years old. T.J. Watt surpasses his brother - T.J. Watt notched his 88th career sack in his 96th career appearance, surpassing J.J. Watt for the second-most sacks in a player's first 100 career games (since individual sacks were first officially tracked in 1982).  The only player with more sacks than either of the Watt Bros. in his first 100 career games was the Minister of Defense himself, Reggie White (105.0). NFL Trivia - Hall of Famer Jim Brown won not only MVP but also Rookie of the Year and All-Pro his first year out of Syracuse.  Leading the league in rushing, he beat YA Tittle of SF and Johnny Unites (Colts) for the AP MVP.  That year, 2 MVP awards were given, and Tittle won the UPI award.  Neither Brown nor Tittle won the title, with the Detroit Lions winning their last (so far) NFL title that year. Brown would go on to win two more MVP trophies in a nine-year career that saw him finish as the all-time leading rusher in NFL history.  Brown never missed a game during his career.  He is still 11th all-time in rushing, with 12, 312.  That number was so dominant that when he retired, the next-highest career rushing total was nearly 3000 yards behind him, and he is also known for being maybe the best Lacrosse player in history and an actor with movies like the “Dirty Dozen.”  Pop-Culture Trivia Answer - So there are a few answers…in 1863, President Abraham Lincoln officially made Thanksgiving a national holiday. This was primarily due to the efforts of Sarah Josepha Hale, who wrote dozens of letters to the President and other officials asking for an official holiday.  Hale was also famous as an author, her most famous work being “Mary Had a Little Lamb”!  But, despite the proclamation, it wasn't really celebrated until the 1870s due to the Civil War and its aftermath, and then generally on the 30th of November until FDR came along.    Franklin D Roosevelt signed a presidential proclamation on Oct 31, 1939, that set the date to the last Thursday in November, primarily to provide an extra seven days of Christmas shopping!  The new date was controversial; many states observed the 30th and the new date in protest.  This ended when FDR got Congress to pass a joint resolution to force the new date starting in 1942.  “Black Friday” was first used in 1951 or 52 when the journal Factory Management and Maintenance coined the term, initially for workers calling in sick to get a four-day weekend!  Using the term for shopping started in the 70s but didn't take off as a cultural touch-point until the mid to late 80s!

It is the 1079th unique score in NFL history. Will the Thrill. - With four TD passes against the Falcons, Will Levis became the third player in NFL history to throw four touchdowns in his NFL debut, joining Fran Tarkenton and Marcus Mariota. McCaffery Streaks On - Including the 2022 playoffs, McCaffrey has now scored a touchdown in 17 consecutive games -- tied with Hall of Famer Lenny Moore (1963-64) for the longest streak in NFL history. In one of Moore's games during that streak, he scored an offensive fumble recovery touchdown but not a scrimmage touchdown (rushing or receiving). That means McCaffrey's 17-game streak with a scrimmage touchdown is the longest in NFL history. Football Trivia Answer – Brett Favre, with 32, has the all-time record, so Stafford could still catch him!  Favre also has a career record with 336 interceptions thrown! That is over 68 over the second-place QB (John Hadl).  The current still-playing leader is Stafford as well, with 178.  Pop Culture Trivia Answer – "It" is the all-time leader, with over 700 million at the box office. The top six: 1.     It (2017) 701 million 2.     The Sixth Sense (1999) 672 million 3.     I am Legend (2007) 585 million 4.     World War Z (2013) 540 million 5.     It Chapter Two (2019) 473 million 6.     The Exorcist (1973) 441 million

But that boosted his season total to 902, making Hill the only player in the Super Bowl era with at least 900 receiving yards through his team's first seven games of the season. Hill trails only Oilers legend Charley Hennigan (1,044 in the first seven games of 1961!) for the NFL record.  The Taylor Effect - In the four games Taylor Swift has been in attendance, Travis Kelce is averaging 108 receiving yards per game. In the games she was not, he's averaging 46.5. Football Trivia Answer – the legendary Reggie White also has 82 sacks before his 28th birthday.  After being an All-American for Tennessee (Go Big Orange), He played for the Eagles, Packers, and Panthers. “The Minister of Defense” finished his time in the NFL with 198 sacks, good for 2nd all-time behind Bruce Smith.  Garrett has some time to break this record, though, and his 29th birthday isn’t until December 29th! Pop Culture Trivia Answer– There have been a staggering 10 Friday the 13th movies since the initial movie was released in 1980.  That included the crossover with Nightmare on Elm Street.   The iconic hockey mask wasn’t introduced to the series until the third movie, “Friday the 13th Part III in 3D,” in 1982.

Pop Culture Trivia Answer – Beyoncé has the most Grammys with 32 trophies to her name. Taylor needs to win 20 more to pass her!  Second, Sir Georg Solti, an orchestral and operatic conductor, has 31 Grammy wins.  The Hungarian-born Solti led an amazing life.  He fled his native Hungary in the Second World War (he was Jewish) and taught piano in Switzerland, where he wasn’t allowed to conduct (again Jewish). He had to win the Geneva International Piano Competition even to be allowed to teach piano to survive!  After the war, with most of the major German conductors having been members of the Nazi party, he got the job of the conductor of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich.  This started his journey of recording and winning Grammys.  Solti's most celebrated recording was Wagner's The Ring, made in Vienna. It has twice been voted the greatest recording ever made, the first poll being among readers of Gramophone magazine in 1999, and the second of professional music critics in 2011, for the BBC's Music Magazine.  He passed in 1997 at 85, and several major classic music awards are named for him.  Oh, where are the Beatles on this list, you ask???  Only 7 Grammys and they were beaten out of Grammys by the likes of The Girl from Ipanema (I Want to Hold Your Hand), A Taste of Honey (Yesterday), and Blood, Sweat & Tears (Abby Road), with the final indignity of Hey Jude losing Song of the Year to something called Little Green Apples.  So, the Grammy’s can be weird…
