With the sad and tragic event of Charlie Kirk's assassination, the self-professing prophets are once again claiming that they received words from the Lord pertaining to it. While some individuals are promoting their books in the process, others are claiming recycled words that they appropriated to another event now to Charlie Kirk. Reels seems to bombard us and to pull us into the vortex of doomscrolling on our phones. In the mix of those reels, we can come across snippets of teachings and doctrines that are aberrant and confusing. Some people may even say some things that sound good, but do they agree with Scripture? Additionally, there are leaders who do not take kindly to being questioned, calling those who question their long-form content and their reels "YouTube theologians", which is meant to be derogatory and to insinuate that opposition is unfounded and lacking Biblical intelligence. Claims of taking trips to Heaven and Hell have been alleged for many years by numerous individuals. Some of the same individuals have written books about their stories, in an attempt to convince others that both places are real. The New Age has not only crept into such movements as the New Apostolic Reformation, but practices and teachings have become mainstream in it. One of those teachings is that of supernatural portals and how to access them. One of the counterarguments that is stated when addressing aberrant teaching and the individual engaging in it is that peace should be made, since the individual is a brother/sister in Christ.
