OWL’s Wise Older Women panel will talk about how a woman’s identity is connected with her family, her work, her parents and her husband. Who is she without them? How can she reclaim her own identity if/when they are gone? How does God’s word address these concerns?
In this program, Ila will be joined by Beth, Julie and Christine who will discuss the differences we experience with autistic persons and how we all can achieve the unity of God through better understanding. We hope that this program will inform and encourage parents, grandparents, extended family as well as the family of God as they all engage an autistic person, whether child or adult.
Ila will be joined by Julie Estes and Colleen O’Steen to discuss how our trust in God leads to our trusting His and our family.
Dana Burk, Julie Estes and Ila King will discuss the joy that we have in trusting in God. How is it achieved? What does the scripture promise us? What Bible characters showed us the way to trust God?
Beth Stuckey, Christine Eckhardt and Julie Estes join Ila in a discussion of how parents can raise an autistic child to become a loving, obedient child of God.
Dana Burk and Cami Bunting join Ila King to discuss prayer and especially praying for our enemies.

Guests Colleen O’Steen and Dana Burk join Cindy and Ila for an upbeat conversation about what they love best about being older women.
Kathleen Trigg leads a discussion with Ila and Cindy that encourages godly women to follow Biblical teaching and examples to replace negative, inaccurate perceptions of aging and death.

Ila and Cindy enjoy a light conversation about both the big and little things for which they are especially thankful.
In this program, Ila and Cindy welcome Colleen O’Steen and Dana Burk as they explore practices, tools, and resources that can help us better steward our relationships as we tend to the spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical well-being of our spouses, children, church family, friends, communities, countries and even our influence in the world.

Slaying The Dragon

Slaying The Dragon

2022-10-0751:26

In a world that calls evil good and good evil, chugs down the poison of sin like there’s no tomorrow, and is thus fettered by chains of its own forging, what’s the divine plan to free ourselves from the misery of moral poverty and wickedness? In this program, Ila King, Cindy Dunagan, and Heather Wells discuss the Creator’s instructions for what warrior princesses can do to slay the dragon of sin.
As we continue this month's focus on the topic of "pain," Lauren Bassford uses Psalm 74 to facilitate a fascinating conversation about finding the favor of God during painful experiences by remembering His promises, holding Him to them, praying for those promises, and finding peace in His reassurances to fulfill those promises!
Cindy, Ila, Heather Wells and Reagan Banks explore biblical case studies to learn how to respond honorably in our most painful moments.
