OWL’s Wise Older Women panel will talk about how a woman’s identity is connected with her family, her work, her parents and her husband. Who is she without them? How can she reclaim her own identity if/when they are gone? How does God’s word address these concerns?
In this program, Ila will be joined by Beth, Julie and Christine who will discuss the differences we experience with autistic persons and how we all can achieve the unity of God through better understanding. We hope that this program will inform and encourage parents, grandparents, extended family as well as the family of God as they all engage an autistic person, whether child or adult.

Cindy Dunagan, Ila King and Colleen O’Steen explore the specifics around what God says in the New Testament about fasting and prayer, then consider the needs they’ve observed in our culture that seem most pressing at present to keep in our prayers, and will end their discussion with cameras off to pray with their viewers for the most pressing needs around us.
Colleen O’Steen joins Ila King and Cindy Dunagan for a conversation about why they find prayer to be a joy, what qualities God says can make one’s prayers effective, and how to avoid mindless rote or “vain repetition” when we are boldly approaching God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).
