--What are the causes?
--What are the psychological effects?
--How to overcome the effects?
Pain is not actually a disease but it gives a signal that something is going wrong in our body thus indicates the early stages of the disease. During pain, the body naturally releases painkiller(endorphins) to reduce pain, stress, and helps to manage the pain. High usage of painkiller pills may cut off the signal that the body needs to communicate and suppress the endorphins which may affect the body's tolerance level of pain. So use painkillers when is really needed and tolerate the pain when the pain is manageable if you could not tolerate then try inducing endorphins release by giving any form of physical activities to the body. Give your fullest attention to each and every information that your body communicates to you. Physical and mental health is more important than the money you earn. You no need to spend so much money to spend in the hospital if you give importance and care to your body every single day.
Sleep plays a really important role when it comes to maintaining good physical and mental health. During sleep, your body parts slow down and allow the body to heal from any wounds or diseases internally by stimulating growth hormones and immune cells. Also, more white blood cells are produced during sleep thus resulting in attaching the viruses and bacteria that hinder the healing process.
Short period and long period sleep than usual duration (7 to 9hrs) will result in physical and mental illness.
Give your body the amount of rest it needs and feel the miracle from within.
Can we control our stress?
Are there any easy steps to overcome stress?
Yes, of course, you can control it with just three simple steps - (1)Good sleep/deep relaxation - 7 to 9 hours deep sleep, (2)Excercise/Physical activities - Any form of physical activities like dance, yoga, walking, jogging, etc... but it needs to cover every part of the body joints and (3)Positive mindset - Taking good in everything and viewing things from all positive aspects instead of dwelling into negative thoughts and emotions. This actually worked for me personally to handle my stress and to recover from my other diseases.
Why specifically these three techniques work well with stress? (1) Deep sleep has the power to relax/calm your mind & body totally which allows you to calm down the release of stress hormones. and heals the disease from within. (2) Physical activities will reduce the level of stress hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol in the body. (3) A positive mindset will help to lower the cause of stress, lower the reaction to any stressors by taking everything in a positive way, therefore end up with a happy and balanced state of mind.
In this episode, you will understand how stress has an impact on our physical body and how it is linked with my chronic disease.
Stress is not just an emotional issue it does affects our physical body. Stress creates a fight or flight response which releases some hormones in our body that increases our power or capacity double times to fight or run away from a dangerous situation/stressful situation. But when these hormones are released often, that affects our body by damaging some parts, weaken the immune system, and leads to chronic disease.
In this episode, I share my own life story of physical suffering and diseases due to emotional issues (stress, anxiety etc..), how I managed to deal with it and how that changed my whole life and attitude of seeing things differently.
Hey guys, this episode is a precise statement about me and my podcast (Mind-Body Therapy)
