Recap: The Golden Knights were looking to go into the Olympic break on a winning streak by beating the incoming LA Kings. Team USA’s Jack Eichel opened the scoring early in the opening period with his 21st goal this season. Team Canada’s Mark Stone followed up with his 21st goal as well. Pavel Dorofeyev continued the scoring surge on the power play and Team Canada’s Mitch Marner scored seconds later. LA recorded a goal with under five minutes left in the opening 20 minutes. Each team traded chances in the middle frame but neither team found the back of the net. After 40 minutes, the Golden Knights held a 4-1 advantage. The game slowed down in the final 20 minutes with neither team scoring another goal. The Golden Knights record improves to 27-16-14 defeating the Kings 4-1 at T-Mobile Arena. Vegas and the rest of the NHL will pause play for the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Games. The Golden Knights will return to action on February 25th in Los Angeles. Puck drop against the Kings is scheduled for 7 PM. (Recap by Jason) Analysis: A five-minute spurt of dominance carried the day for the Golden Knights in the final game before the break. Was nice to see VGK have the early flurry rather than giving it up. Hill had a really nice middle period which erased a below average defensive period, but overall the Golden Knights did what they needed to make the big early lead stick. Recap: The Golden Knights were hoping to bounce back at home with a victory over the Seattle Kraken. Seattle struck first and later added a second goal later in the opening period. After 20 minutes the visitors held a 2-0 advantage. Ivan Barbashev cut the Kraken’s lead in half off a nice feed from Jack Eichel. With time winding down in the frame, Mitch Marner tied the game with his 14th goal of the season. Seattle quickly scored into the 3rd period to take a 3-2 edge. Vegas failed to the game in the third and lost the Kraken by one. The Golden Knights’ record drops to 25-15-14 falling to the Kraken 3-2 at T-Mobile Arena. Next up, Vegas will travel to Anaheim tomorrow for a one-game road trip. Puck drop against the Ducks is scheduled for 6:30 PM. (Recap by Jason) Analysis: Another game, another early deficit, another recovery. This time it happened earlier than normal though and into 2nd intermission it was already tied. Like clockwork, this year’s VGK have struggled to take hold of games that are even. They allowed a 3rd period goal and then the push was too little too late, even though it looked good once again. Falling behind is costly over large samples and that price came due tonight. Recap: The Golden Knights were looking to end their road trip off with a victory in Montreal. Vegas goal leader, Pavel Dorofeyev, gave Vegas the first lead of the game with his 23rd goal of the season. After the opening 20 minutes the Golden Knights held a 1-0 edge. Montreal tied the game quickly into the middle frame. The two teams traded chances, but each goaltenders were sharp in net. Eventually, the Canadiens took a 2-1 lead into the 2nd intermission. Vegas had several power play chances but failed to convert on any of them. With under five minutes remaining in the game, Dorofeyev recorded his second goal of the contest to even the score 2-2. The game ended tied in regulation and was forced to be finalized in overtime. The Canadiens began overtime on the power play, but the Golden Knights were able to kill it off. Later on 4-on-4 Montreal scored the game-winning goal. The Golden Knights’ record drops to 25-14-13 falling to the Canadiens 3-2 in OT. Next up, Vegas returns home for a date with the Dallas Stars on Thursday. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 PM. (Recap by Jason) Analysis: When the game was at a slower pace, the Golden Knights looked more in control. Once it sped up, Montreal started to look like the more dangerous team. Both teams struggled on special teams and they each needed a high-tip to beat a pair of goaltenders that played really well. VGK’s best moments were once again when chasing a lead late. Recap: The Golden Knights were hoping to keep their winning streak alive with a victory over the visiting Toronto Maple Leafs. Toronto took the opening lead two minutes into the game and took a 2-0 lead four shifts later. Facing his former club, Mitch Marner fed Pavel Dorofeyev on the power play to cut the Leafs lead in half. Toronto regained their two goal lead moments after. Vegas trailed 3-1 after twenty minutes of action. Vegas had an early second power play that they failed to score. Five minutes later, depth forward Keegan Kolesar scored his second goal of the season to cut Toronto’s lead to one goal. Vegas’ Tomas Hertl committed a costly penalty midway through the period leading to a 4-2 Maple Leafs advantage. Quickly into the third period, the Golden Knights drew a penalty and was awarded a crucial power play opportunity. Dorofeyev, VGK’s PP specialist, added his second 5-on-4 goal of the evening to get Vegas within one goal. Six minutes later the Maple Leafs regained their two-goal edge. With under ten minutes remaining Mark Stone gave Vegas life with his 17th goal of the season and Tomas Hertl forced overtime with his 19th. Jack Eichel completed the comeback in overtime. The Golden Knights record improves to 23-11-12 defeating the Maple Leafs 6-5 in OT. Next up, Vegas will host the Nashville Predators on Saturday night. Puck drop against the Preds is scheduled for 7 PM PT. (Recap by Jason) Analysis: The Leafs came out hot in this game and it took quite a while for VGK to get up to pace. Adin Hill’s return was unsurprisingly rocky and his defense didn’t do him a lot of favors either. The Golden Knights eventually caught up with the speed of the game and kept pushing until the bitter end. Even with a game-tying goal waved off late, they found a way to keep going and get it to OT. Unbelievable win considering the holes they consistently had to dig out of. (Analysis by Ken) Upcoming stories from the Vegas Golden Knights vs. Toronto Maple Leafs at T-Mobile Arena. Recap: The Golden Knights were looking to keep their winning streak alive with a victory in San Jose. Jack Eichel opened the scoring with his 15th goal of the season. The Sharks evened the score minutes later but committed a costly penalty midway through the period. On the ensuing power play, specialist Pavel Dorofeyev scored to give Vegas a 2-1 lead. Vegas came out hot for the 2nd period. Eichel, Tomas Hertl and Zach Whitecloud all scored to take a commanding 5-1 lead. San Jose cut the lead to 5-2 before the intermission. An empty net goal from Shea Theodore and then another from Hertl extended the lead to the same score VGK beat the Sharks by a few weeks ago, 7-2. The Golden Knights record improves to 21-11-12 defeating the Sharks 7-2 in San Jose. Next up, Vegas will take on the Kings on Wednesday night in LA. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 PM. Recap: The Golden Knights were hoping to snap their losing skid with a victory in Chicago. Vegas’ Brandon Saad opened up the scoring against his old team with his second goal of the season. Minutes later the Blackhawks evened the score. After the opening 20 minutes the game was tied 1-1. The Golden Knights took an immediate lead :43 into the middle frame. Captain Mark Stone picked up his 12th goal of 2025-26, giving his team a 2-1 edge. Chicago tied the game scoring the only goal of the final period to force overtime. The Blackhawks scored early on 3-on-3 to pick up the two points. The Golden Knights record drops to 17-11-12 falling to the Blackhawks 3-2 in OT. Next up, Vegas will travel to Winnipeg to face the Jets on Tuesday night. Puck drop is scheduled for 5 PM. (Recap by Jason) Analysis: Embarrassing game for the Golden Knights. They didn’t look dangerous most of the night and it got really bad in the 3rd period as they tried to hold the lead. Didn’t land a shot for the first half of the period, wasn’t particularly pretty in the defensive zone either. Eventually, they bent enough that they broke and then never possessed the puck in OT. Terrible loss considering it was a B2B for Chicago, it was Dad’s Trip, and the Hawks are without their only two good players… and their good goalie didn’t play. Recap: The Golden Knights were hoping to build off Tuesday’s win with a victory over the top seeded Colorado Avalanche. Quickly into the opening twenty minutes Alex Holtz gave Vegas a 1-0 lead, scoring his first goal of the season. Ivan Barbashev doubled Vegas’ lead :34 into the middle frame. The Avalanche began to heat up rattling off two straight goals, but Vegas returned the favor. First Ben Hutton regained the Golden Knights lead, and Brett Howden doubled their lead less than a minute later. After 40 minutes, Vegas held a 4-2 advantage. Colorado quickly got within one in the final frame and tied it 4-4 minutes later. Late in the frame Colton Sissons regained VGK’s one goal lead. The Avalanche scored again to send the game into overtime. Eventually Colorado won the game in a shootout. The Golden Knights record drops to 17-8-11 falling to the Colorado Avalanche 6-5 in SO. Next up, Vegas will host the Minnesota Wild on Monday night. Puck drop against the Wild is scheduled for 7 PM. (Recap by Jason) Analysis: What a game for the Golden Knights. Despite being down three of their most important skaters and their starting goalie, they stuck to the gameplan they’ve used for a long time against the Avalanche and it worked like a charm… for the most part. They played with incredibly strong sticks and great gaps at the blue line which left the Avs struggling to enter the zone. Eventually, there were turnovers and VGK capitalized on just about every chance they got on goal. Unfortunately, there was a lot of really bad luck which is awfully difficult to overcome against Colorado. Incredibly impressive effort against a team that very well may end the season with the best record in the history of the NHL. Recap: In the second of a two game road trip the Golden Knights headed north to frigid Edmonton. The Oilers came out flying scoring twice in the 1st period including a Connor McDavid wondergoal. The Golden Knights had three power play opportunities but couldn’t capitalize on any of them. The Oilers continued the onslaught in the 2nd period scoring a couple more meaning Vegas found itself in a 4-goal hole for the second straight night. Tomas Hertl was able find the back of the net on the power play to cut the deficit to three. The 2nd period would end 4-1. VGK came roaring back in the 3rd period starting with another power play goal, this time from Pavel Dorofeyev. Then, when Bruce Cassidy stuck Mitch Marner, Mark Stone, and Hertl together, they were all over the Oilers and Marner eventually stuck in Vegas’ 3rd goal. They looked dangerous all the way until the final horn but couldn’t find the equalizer. The Golden Knights’ record drops to 16-8-10 falling to the Oilers 4-3 in Edmonton. Next up, the Golden Knights are coming home for the holidays. The first of a four game homestand against the Sharks on Tuesday. Puck drop is at 7 PM. (Recap by Ken) Analysis: For the first half of the game it looked like the two-time defending Western Conference Champions were toying with a Golden Knights team missing two of its best players. EDM’s PP struck a few times, they were all over VGK at 5-on-5 and the Golden Knights appeared dead in the water. Then, the tide turned and the Golden Knights took over. Their execution turned up a ton and they got right back in it. They couldn’t find the game-tying goal but if the game lasted a few more minutes they probably would have, because they were buzzing. Recap: The Golden Knights were looking to wrap up their road trip with a victory in Columbus over the Blue Jackets. Columbus jumped out first with a goal seven minutes into the opening frame. After twenty minutes the home team held a 1-0 edge. Immediately in the middle frame, the Golden Knights were awarded a power play opportunity which Pavel Dorofeyev took advantage of. Dorofeyev tied the game, scoring his 13th goal of the season. The game was locked in a 1-1 tie after two periods of action. Five minutes into the final period the Blue Jackets regained their one goal lead. The Golden Knights answered right back with a goal from defenseman Ben Hutton. Late in the period, Brayden McNabb snapped the tie and gave Vegas a 3-2 advantage. Vegas fought off a late 6-on-4 to complete their victory. The Golden Knights record improves to 16-6-9 defeating the Blue Jackets 3-2 in Columbus. Next up, Vegas will travel home and prepare for their next game on Wednesday. Puck drop against the New Jersey Devils is scheduled for 7 PM. (Recap by Jason) Analysis: The Golden Knights looked a lot like a team at the end of a road trip, essentially out of gas and trying to hang on. Somehow though, they battled their way through, without playing well for most of the game, and defeated a Columbus team that can’t seem to get out of its own way. The road trip ends with an incredible 4-0-1, but the play to get them there was no where near as impressive. Recap: The Golden Knights were looking to start December off on the right foot with a home victory against the Chicago Blackhawks. Vegas struck first thirty seconds into the opening period. Ivan Barbashev was awarded his 9th goal of the season but Chicago immediately answered back. After twenty minutes of action the game was locked in a 1-1 tie. Chicago snapped the 1-1 tie with an unassisted goal midway through the period. Vegas defenseman Ben Hutton evened the score 2-2 with his 3rd goal of the season. Blackhawks star Connor Bedard scored on a brilliant individual move to regain his team’s advantage. Vegas heavily pressured Chicago in the final frame and it paid off. Braeden Bowman scored his fifth goal to even the score 3-3 and force overtime. Eventually the game was decided by Vegas in a shootout where Pavel Dorofeyev and Shea Theodore scored while Carter Hart stopped three of four. The Golden Knights record improves to 12-6-8 defeating the Blackhawks 4-3 in SO. Next up, Vegas will hit the road for the next five games beginning on Friday. Puck drop against the New Jersey Devils is scheduled for 4 PM. (Recap by Jason) Analysis: This was not a particularly good game for the Golden Knights from a systems perspective. They allowed a heap of odd-man rushes, which led to Bedard’s snipe and a bundle of penalties. VGK’s offense just never really got sustained pressure and even when they did the Knight in the other goal was very good. But, they kept pushing down the stretch and found a way to get the game tied. In overtime, the Hawks were all over the Golden Knights, but Hart kept them in it with a few great stops. Theodore won it with his favorite move in shootout. Recap: The Golden Knights hosted the Ottawa Senators for a pre-Thanksgiving matchup at T-Mobile Arena. Ottawa answered quickly into the game to take a 1-0 lead. Vegas pushed back and finally got on the scoreboard with minutes remaining in the period. With seconds left Ottawa regained their two-goal advantage. Jack Eichel scored his 250th career NHL goal to get his team within one. Ottawa was awarded a late period power play opportunity which Vegas promptly killed off. In his return from injury captain Mark Stone tied the game 3-3 with a crucial power play goal. After regulation the game needed an overtime and eventually a shootout to decide a winner. The Golden Knights record drops to 10-5-8 falling to the Senators 4-3 in shootout. Next up, Vegas will welcome the Montreal Canadiens for an afternoon matchup on Black Friday. Puck drop against the Canadiens is scheduled for 1 PM.(Recap by Jason) Analysis: VGK dug themselves a decent hole in the 1st but went to work the rest of the game to get themselves back in it. They completely shut down the Senators’ attack for the last 40 minutes and were able to get a cheap goal to tie it on the power play (after having many better chances on the previous ones). Overtime was better, shootout was not. (Analysis by Ken) Upcoming stories from the Vegas Golden Knights vs. Ottawa Senators at T-Mobile Arena. Recap: The Golden Knights began a three-game road trip in Utah to face the Mammoth. Vegas was awarded a cross-checking penalty but couldn’t convert their opportunity into a goal. After 20 minutes, the game was locked in a scoreless tie. Vegas came out hot to start the middle frame. First, Jack Eichel opened the scoring 3:09 into the period, and Ben Hutton followed 19 seconds later. The Mammoth cut the Golden Knights’ lead in half but Eichel regained VGK’s two-goal advantage. 45 seconds into the final 20 minutes, Braeden Bowman scored his third career goal, giving his club a 4-1 lead. The Golden Knights’ record improves to 10-4-6 defeating the Mammoth 4-1 in Utah. Next, up Vegas will take a short flight to Anaheim before returning back to Utah for another game with the Mammoth. Puck drop against the Ducks is scheduled for Saturday at 7 PM. (Recap by Jason) Analysis:  It’s been a rarity this season, the Golden Knights used a dominant 2nd period to grab and hold of the game. Their details were excellent all night and the offense came to life in the middle frame. From there they basically leaned on the Mammoth and made them look like boys to VGK’s men. The Golden Knights have lost more games than they’ve won, but they’re also on pace to post 100 points. There’s a lot that causes concern, while also plenty to be excited about. Simply put, it’s been a weird start, and we try to figure it out. Hosted by Ken Boehlke and Jason Pothier. Dot Vegas Domains is the presenting sponsor of the SinBin.vegas Podcast. Puck drop for a rematch of the 2023 Stanley Cup Finals is scheduled for 7 PM. (Recap by Jason) Analysis: The middle frame was troublesome for the Golden Knights once again and it forced a tall hill to climb against a team that’s growing in confidence in the Anaheim Ducks. VGK turned the tide in the 3rd and looked like the team that has dominated this matchup for the better part of a decade. They were relentless and found a way all the way back to tie it.
