The purpose of this episode is to share knowledge with our listeners on a crisis that is affecting our communities and nation. My goal is to equip families with the knowledge and resources to become their own medical advocate. Also, to build confidence to speak up and ask the potentially life-saving questions. My hope is to make a positive impact on the medical system one mother, father and family at a time through uncovering unconscious bias embedded in the medical system. We must advocate for ourselves and for each other. I’ll be sharing resources and speaking with professionals and local organizations helping families with one goal- to save a life.
