I feel like there’s a distinction between good manhood and being a good leader and that shouldn’t be the case. A man who is a good man is generally going to be making strides to be a good leader in his circles of influence. A man who leads doesn’t point blame or shuts down and avoids situations. Yesterday I caught a Live where several of the viewers were trashing the character of one on the interviewees. It’s sad so many people had that type of energy to focus on someone who was living her truth. Let people live their truth! And also, let’s stop normalizing our trauma! If you’re hurt and broken you won’t know HOW TO KEEP a good thing even if you’re fortunate to find it. You’re normal of hurt and brokenness and complacency isn’t grounds for growth so all you reciprocate into your relationships are hurt and brokenness. A healthy person isn’t going to stay or be able to even grow with you in that. YOU have to be willing to fix you and do the work for YOU to be able to be fertile soil to be planted into and have something productive grow: a healthy relationship. If we really knew what healthy relationships looked like mind games wouldn’t work. Ppl who use ghosting are using abandonment issues to trigger attachments. People who use berating or arguing or destroying behaviors are using toxic issues or styles to condition the other person to normalize that abuse. Ladies I’ve done a few videos on this before but we’ve got to get out of the mind frame of forecasting the future and wanting to be found and married sooo bad that we are willing to waste time with the wrong person. Stop paying for placeholders in your love life! Takers are opportunists. It means they don’t know how to appreciate you going above and beyond, they don’t know how to reciprocate it, they don’t know and they don’t care. You can walk on eggshells to keep them happy and they will still find a way to find something wrong and make it your fault and throw everything you’ve ever invested in them out the window and say you were the one wasting their time! Stop settling for less. Remember, healing is a process and a journey. It's a choice we make each and every day. You got this and I'm rooting for you! P.S.
