A late run by the Bruins wasn’t enough as Illinois hangs on to win in Champaign tonight. We do what we do best: recap the third quartile and look ahead to the Quartile of Death (Idk that's just what people are calling it).  P.S HBD Dylan :)

Robert joins the show for the first time all season so naturally, we talk mostly football. Stick around long enough and you just might hear some Illini basketball talk.
After a two week break, the Illini are back in the win column and we jump on to discuss defeating Northwestern and The BoardRoom Retreat in Mexico City.
The illini get back on track after running IU off their home court in Bloomington. Is IU a football school now? Probably not but it seems like they may also not be a basketball school at the moment either.

I'll never listen to the whiniest human being that I've ever heard again. I hope he paid you.

I appreciate the melancholy, but between you guys and Robert, I feel much WORSE than just understanding that: this is just the beginning and not the end; 9 months of isolation; they were on a long winning streak that was bound to end; they didn't have great length; freshmen don't win championships, they just don't; not one player on the team had tournament experience, and it matters, and that is why consistent tournament appearances are so important.
