Each episode will be fast paced but focused on the crtical items you need to review and study! Heres the small print: The views, information and opinions are those of the podcaster (me) and not an endorsement of BASF views, information or opinions. Now lets get started!

While this domain does not have its own chapter in the ACE study guide, we will discuss what is included. The good news is you have studied 85% of it already!
Last segment of the three part series on safety deals with spills, first aid and all the agencies and laws you need to review. This episode probably requires addtional listens!
This is all above Personal Protective Equipment or "PPE". We will also talk about Storage and Transportation when dealing with Pesticides. Here is the link for the EPA glove categories: https://oeh.cals.cornell.edu/sites/oeh.cals.cornell.edu/files/shared/documents/pesticides/EPAChemRes.pdf
This section deals with toxicity, the label and sds.
This is always a tough chapter for me having dealt with many cases of delusory parasitosis through out my career. Here is the link to Dr Michael Potter's brief on this subject. https://entomology.ca.uky.edu/ef649. I also went back and looked at Mallis handbook of Pest Control and chapter 9 deals with this subject in great detail!

Here is a quick 5-minute episode on what Quizlet is. I know mention it here and there on episodes and I wanted to make sure you knew that you don’t have to pay for a subscription and why I am such a flash card fan for studying for the ACE.  Here is the link to my free cards! https://quizlet.com/join/TebM9JvYD
Lucky number 13! When you saw this title you probably thought, "Sylvia, I know this stuff". Well let’s make sure you know what ESA wants you to know. The exam definitions are very specific and knowing the right definition of IPM is a start. The episode will also look at the important ingredients and execution of a good inspection including tools and reports.
We talk alot about the "second resource" during the podcasts but you might be asking "what exactly am I looking for?" In this episode we talk about how to use books/apps like NPMA field guide or Mallis whether its your second resource of inofrmation or your primary resource.
Last section of Biting and Stinging Pests all related arthropods such a spiders, mites and ticks. I also included a small section on the lice.. which was not included in part two.
Continuing our discussion we will focus on biting insects starting with the flies, fleas and bugs ( true bugs). There are many opportunites for comparing and contrasting here- so be sure to look at your second source to be familar with these groups.
This section is very diverse and a must know for the ACE exam. We will do this section over three episodes focusing on who and what you need to focus on your study time. Dont forget we have ACE quizlet cards available to help you study for FREE!
