Derived from the prevalence of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) amongst children in the United States, 1 in 36 addresses hot topics affecting the autism community in the Hudson Valley and beyond. The unique interview format features host Eliza Bozenski of Anderson Center for Autism, New York’s premier autism treatment center, along with celebrity guests, professionals in the field, community partners, and more.

Bozenski serves as the Chief Development Officer and oversees the Development department. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Miami University of Ohio and her master’s degree in clinical social work from New York’s Columbia University.

The half-hour weekend program is produced by Pamal Broadcasting, LTD. 1 in 36 continues to serve the tri-state area as a leading autism resource since its inception in 2012.

Dr. Rozdolski is a Dentist Anesthesiologist, the Director of Anesthesia and Pain Control, the Co-Director of Special Needs Dentistry Fellowship, and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dental Medicine at Touro College of Dental Medicine. Dr. DiSenso is the Director of Special Needs, Co-Director of Special Needs Dentistry Fellowship, and an Assistant Professor of Dental Medicine at the college as well. They join us to discuss the New York State Academic Dental Centers (NYSADC) Fellowship to Address Oral Health Disparities, TCDM's fellowship program for special needs, the IDD community & dental desensitization, and more. This weekend's 1 in 36 guest is Jamie Bishop. Jamie is a brewmaster and co-owner of Mill House Brewing Company (MHBC) in Poughkeepsie, NY. He is also a long time friend of Anderson Center for Autism, as this is the 10th year MHBC is brewing Mr. Anderson Ale for us. "A Century of Impact, a Decade of Beer" is the theme for this year's Mr. Anderson Ale launch!  Following the launch event on April 4th, $1 of every pint sold by Mill House Brewing Company during April (Autism Acceptance Month) will be donated back to us! Anderson and DCC are long time partners and friends, collaborating on many projects over the years. She is also a parent advocate for families with children with disabilities. Beth holds a master’s degree in Social Justice Educational Studies at SUNY New Paltz, focusing on disability advocacy, inclusion and anti-racism work, and is a graduate of the Certified NYS Partners in Policymaking. They founded SCF in 2021, inspired by a family member who is diagnosed with ASD. Their mission is to provide adaptive and inclusive fitness for everyone. They believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a healthy and active lifestyle, regardless of ability or disability. This weekend's 1 in 36 guest is Sarah McKeon. Sarah is the General Manager of New Jersey Airports for The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey. Most recently, Anderson Center Consulting and Training collaborated with Newark Liberty International Airport on a new sensory room located in Terminal A. The 1,000 square foot sensory lounge for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities provides a calming oasis from the noise and visual stimulation of the airport. Tune in to learn more!

Maggie is the program coordinator for the East Fishkill TOPSoccer program. TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training program for all athletes with intellectual, emotional, and or physical disabilities. This weekend's 1 in 36 guest is Debbie Goddard. Debbie is the Family and Community Educator at the Lower Hudson Valley FACE Center at the Westchester Institute for Human Development (WIHD). She has been with WIHD for five years. Debbie has a personal connection to autism, as she is the parent of an individual with ASD. Debbie is also the founder and former president of the Ossining School District SEPTO where she coordinated with professionals to lead workshops, presentations and Q & A sessions on a variety of relevant topics to the disability community. She is a film development executive turned author and passionate advocate for parent caregivers and individuals with disabilities. Kelley joins us to discuss her new book, Everything No One Tells You About Parenting a Disabled Child. This publication draws upon over a decade of Kelley's advocacy, along with experience learned in her prior career of writing and developing talking animal movies. This weekend's 1 in 36 guests are two Anderson team members, Pierce Langlois & Tracy Schober. Pierce is Anderson's ECHO Clinic Coordinator, Tracy is the Director of New Program Development. Both Pierce and Tracy are on Anderson's ECHO HUB team, with Tracy leading the entire HUN team. Each month, ECHO Autism Anderson: Education hosts a session that consists of a case presentation by a community-based educational provider and a didactic presentation by the HUB team. This team includes specialists such as a licensed psychologist/behavior analyst, a speech and language pathologist with feeding expertise; a licensed clinical social worker, and others who share very specific experiences and insights. This weekend's 1 in 36 broadcast is a special one! This show is the official launch of Anderson's centennial, we are celebrating 100 years in existence. For the first half of the show, we have Anderson's PR & Marketing Manager, Kelly Dooley interviewing the usual host of the show, Eliza Bozenski. These two discuss Anderson's history, with a deep dive into past and how the organization has grown over the years since 1924. The second half of the show includes an interview with David Melby, Vice President of NFP. David has been a constant supporter of Anderson throughout the years, serving on our board, volunteering, sponsoring fundraising events and more. This weekend's 1 in 36 guests are Ken and Daniel Trush. This father & son duo co-founded Daniel's Music Foundation (DMF), along with Daniel's mother Nancy, and his brother, Michael. DMF is a non-profit organization founded in 2006, to empower individuals with developmental and physical disabilities through music. DMF came to fruition after Daniel experienced a ruptured brain aneurysm at the age of 12 that resulted in a coma. Music played a large role in Daniel’s recovery, and his deep connection to music led to DMF, which offers group lessons, events, and more.
