Get The Lead Out is an educational program to protect and restore the population of common loons in Minnesota by reducing their exposure to lead-based fishing tackle. Get the Lead Out Program Coordinator Steven Yang shares about the impacts of lead on loons and freshwater ecosystems, his personal experiences fishing and switching to lead-free fishing tackle, and how the Get The Lead Out program got to where it is today.
