Rena failed her driving test in her teens. She didn't think much about driving again until she was in her 30s when a friend suggested they take driving lessons together. Luckily, she also had friends with cars that helped her practice driving. As a result, Rena was finally able to get her license. She actually enjoys driving now.
1Sarah's driving anxiety worsened after making several attempts to get her license. She became unable to control her physical reactions to being in a car. Sarah finally sought professional help for her driving anxiety. Although she's currently focused on dealing with other personal development issues, Sarah was able to learn about a few strategies that can help combat driving anxiety.
Emilie has both driving and passenger anxiety. Although she's made several attempts to get her license, she now enjoys living a car-free life and doesn't plan on getting her license anytime soon.
