Today we talked about reason and logic. Logic used to be required in schools to teach children HOW to think. Then logic got taken out of the curriculum during the 1950’s. That is when teachers starting teaching kids WHAT to think. This is a very scary reality that we discussed with our guests today.
When looking at logic we can find the answers for many of the issues that are plaguing are country like gun control, immigration, Covid-19 and many more. What we are seeing from our political leaders are decisions based on rhetoric and emotions. So, we took these issues on with our guests using logic and reason to find solutions. It is time to start teaching logic in schools again to save society.

We must start using reason and logic instead of rhetoric and feelings to drive decision making in America. We have created a cancel culture where there are no room for different perspectives, and more than that people lose jobs, get blackballed, and severely harassed in the community if they do not agree with specific ideals and norms. We discussed this and so much more with our guests today, Ken Samples, from Reasons to Believe.

We can see signs of a creator all around us. Our guest Doulas Ell was an atheist until he felt the presence of God at his son’s baptism, so he has spent years looking for evidence of God. He wrote a book, “Proof of God: A Conversation between Doubt and Reason,” where he documents the evidence, he found to support the creator theory. Our next guest Michael Behe talks about how Darwinism is settled science. He makes the correlation between Darwinism, and the flat earth theory. People adamantly believed the earth was flat until science proved that to be wrong. Michael Behe gave specific examples how Darwinism does not work and how science is only effective when we keep testing and experimenting to discover the truth.

Kindness can turn into cruelty, when a problem is growing existentially because people are throwing money at it. This is what has been going on in Seattle with the homeless crisis. Former addicts can accredit their sobriety to going to jail, losing everything, and hitting rock bottom. Which, then forced them to change their behavior. Putting policies into place that allows addicts free housing, drugs, needles, and food is the worst thing we can do. But there is still hope, our guest today talked about real solutions to help people get sober and live productive meaningful lives. Working together and using solutions that have proven to help people and not hurt them. Ensuring that Seattle, can once again be a safer cleaner place to live.
On today’s program we searched for the “truth” because it is getting harder to know what is true and what is false. King and Gizelle came on the program to discuss truth in technology, and the capability to do a deep fake. Where artificial intelligence and advanced editing software is used to take an existing image or video and replicate someone else’s likeness for the purpose to deceive. This technology has been used in the past in movies and against politicians like Trump and Obama.
Some scientists look at evidence that we may be living in a simulation like the Matrix. So, Dr. Fuzz Rana from Reasons to Believe took this theory on with Michelle. They discussed this theory may not be so farfetched. As Christians we can believe that our world is like a simulation. Because there is an afterlife and a creator.
A study was done that showed people’s hearts started beating in unison as they watched a theater performance. It has a unifying physical reaction for people that cannot be explained. To help us understand the emotions people undergo at the theater was Michael Anthony, and he knows firsthand how special the theater is because he is a bartender on Broadway. He has catalogued people’s experiences in his amazing book, Life at Hamilton: Sometimes You Throw Away Your Shot, Only to Find Your Story. Next, Adam Holts from Plugged In Movie Review came on and told us about some “must see” movies and ones we should stay away from. Last, we played the weird news stories of the week that are downright silly.
Can suffering be a blessing?
Suffering can build character and bring us closer to God. Amid chaos and tragedy, we can find the blessings all around us. Our Off the Wall commentator Wall Mark Griswold showed us how blessings are not always things that we want, but the things that we need. Pastor Allen Jackson joined us to demonstrate how Covid-19 was an awakening time for great healing. It gave people a chance to slow down in life and get closer to their family and God. Rabbi Yitzchok Adlerstein came on the program and gave examples of great blessings being used for evil. Furthermore, today’s program demonstrated that the events and things that seem to be a curse in life, years later can be the greatest thing that happened to you. We just need to trust in God and treat others with love, kindness and stay true to your values.
Is the vaccine the cure to all our problems? Before you go out and get the jab please listen to this program. We want to do the best to give you all the facts before you make any major decisions that affects your health. First, Michelle had a conversation with Dr. John A. Cantanzaro, NMD, and he wrote the article, “Fueling the viral fire with MNRA.” He talks about personalized medicine, and how we need to move away from “one size fits all,” medical thinking to treating people based on their individual needs. He then went on to discuss forced vaccinations and that this could be life threatening for some people. We need to really think about the consequences before implementing these kinds of mandates.
We also talked to Rabbi Yitzchok Alderstein about the medical community rationing resources. Which means hospitals deciding if a person is worth helping or if they should be turned away, and what this could mean to our communities. Michelle played previous interviews with Dr. Fuz Ranaand Dr. Joshua Swamadassdiscussing the MRNA vaccines. What they are and how they are different from all the other vaccines.
Can scientist prove that there is life after death? Well, our first guest Michael Anthony thinks so. He is a fascinating character in the Netflix documentary, “Surviving Death,” and he also wrote the book, “Love Dad: How My Father Died…. Then Told Me He Didn’t.” today he discusses the overwhelming amount evidence to support the afterlife, and how as a scientist he has an obligation to investigate this evidence. We also had on Robert Jeffrees who wrote the devotional, ”A Place Called Heaven Devotional: 100 Days of Living in the Hope of Eternity,” and he tells us how to prepare for heaven. Because you would not want to get to the gates of heaven and realize you forgot your “passport.”

The United States is a divided country. Our President Biden talks about uniting the country but do his actions meet his words. Her first guest Dr. Joshua Swamidass who wrote the book, The Genealogical Adam and Eve: The Surprising Science of Universal Ancestry, discusses the book of Genesis and the theory of evolution, and how these do not need to be in opposition because they both could be true. Furthermore, scientist and Christians need to make room for different ideas and perspectives to come up with knowledge-based solutions. Her next guest Dr. Fuzz Rana wrote the book, Who Was Adam? A Creation Model Approach to the Origin of Humanity, and he talks about how God welcomes critical thinking and in faith we should question things because you can use science to prove the bibles unwavering truth.
