In 2023, Amazon MGM Studio saved the much-loved Soap Opera Neighbours from cancellation, and fans in Australia, New Zealand and the UK rejoiced. Then in 2025, Amazon cancelled the show, most likely for 'good'. In 2013 ABC cancelled the sitcom Don’t Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 mid-way through its second season, after airing episodes out of order (for no apparent reasons), and fans of the show were not happy. Longmire was cancelled by A&E in the summer of 2014 (after 3 successful and critically acclaimed seasons), despite the show being A&E’s most-watched original series. It's believed that A&E’s Executives deemed the show's primary viewership (over 50’s) to be less appealing to advertisers. A bit silly, right!? Decreasing viewership, uneven story arcs, a change of Showrunner, and a lack of network support were among the many reasons that Enterprise was On The Bubble multiple times during its 4 season run. All that didn't stop fans from putting their hard-earned on the line to signal their devotion for Star Trek: Enterprise, and that they were more than willing to speak the language of the TV Suits, money.
