On September 26th and 27th, 1982, Ozzy Osbourne and his band took over the Ritz Theater in NYC to record a slug of live Black Sabbath tunes. For whatever reason, this excellent album has been all but forgotten by the Ozzy camp and the record company. In this episode Jeremy and John dig into the myth, magic and mystery of this underrated album.

Ok, let's be honest Quiet Riot's "Metal Health" would probably not rank in your top ten of classic metal albums, but Jeremy contends it is one of the most important albums of the 80s. Do you agree? Or has he been banging his head too much? Check out this episode and see for yourself.

Episode 48 of the CGR podcast should have probably been titled "Stay On Target"! While they do discuss "Breakfast in America", there are also discussions about Stephen A Smith, Colin Cowherd, Rick Astley and a bunch of other stuff.... it's all a blur at this point... but it's a great episode.... for reals!

Some consider UFO's "Strangers in the Night" one of the greatest live rock albums ever. For this episode of the CGR podcast Jeremy brow beat John into listening to the album and then giving a report. You'll hear John's report, plus there's a discussion about Jane Goodall, a dead roadie and all kinds of other stuff. This really is essential listening... honest.

CGR's crack research department has realized that there are alot of really good albums on the Chrysalis Record Label. In this episode of the podcast we discuss this phenomenon (hey! That's the name of a great album by UFO that is on the Chrysalis label! See what we mean?) Jeremy and John also digress into tangential discussions about Geoff Tate of Queensryche, Graham Bonnet, Wishbone Ash, John's declining mental health and live music in general. This episode cannot be missed!
