When Dirk and Josh went to a camp held by Alex Kapasouris in Connecticut, we got to skate with "French Canadian Alex" as he explained. We had promised to have him on the podcast since we were wearing shorts. But, what better way to truly kick off season 10 than with possibly the greatest double shock of an episode. As is the usual, the attempt was to record the episode before we left on Sunday, but that never happens. It made it a much more important episode when we found out both Mark DeMontis, who we had been playing with all weekend, and Kelsey McGuire were BOTH nominated for the Willie O'Ree Community Hero award! We had to have Kelsey on to help promote her campaign of American voters to add to our recap of our weekend in Calgary! For those in the US, please vote for Kelsey and those in Canada, please vote for Mark. DAILY https://www.nhl.com/community/willie-oree/willie-oree-community-hero-award
What an awesome experience! (For everyone but Drew) We were so lucky to be able to highlight international blind hockey live at the American Dream Mall in front of thousands of hockey fans as we hosted a live Dented Puck episode that ended up being guest hosted like a beast by Blake Steinecke. We chatted with Jukka Pulkkiinen from Finland and Nathan Tree from the United Kingdom. We were lucky to have Liam O’Callaghan on the podcast this week to give us a little of his back story prior to his first International Blind Hockey Series. Liam explains his journey through sight loss and and quite a varied hockey background that definitely gives us a very Morgan moment. After a long, active, break, we are back! The releases of this episode was scheduled for 3/22, but technical difficulties pushed us back a week! We sat down with USA Blind Hockey Team member Nick Kalyan before the break and discussed growing up in hockey and a possible youth rivalry with a current teammate. We also discuss how Nick got back into hockey and why Josh is mega jealous of Nick's job. For more information about blind hockey, please check out our website: http://www.thedentedpuck.com
"One of the greatest hockey games I've ever been a part of..." is how one of our hosts described the weekend in Chicago in November, and not for the reason you would expect. Take a trip back to Fifth Third Arena, in Chicago with us as we recap all three divisions of blind hockey action during the 2023 USA Hockey Blind Hockey Classic. Compilation video of "the game" will be posted on Youtube shortly.

"You're killing me, Kory!" - Drew Today, we have a unique episode - possibly the most mentally taxing episode for the boys. We'd like to introduce our producer, Kory Shinohara! He has been the man behind the camera for the Dented Pucks for almost 3 years, now he's the one in front of it. We discuss how he got into hockey as a sport, how he got into broadcasting at the University of Kansas, why he's a Knights fan (opposed to his hometown Hawks), how he discovered blind hockey, and where he wants to take us to in the future!
After a brief hiatus, we are back with another banger! It was a pleasure to welcome on Minnesota Wild Blind Hockey's very own Nick and Brady! We discuss their amazing work with the Wild, especially Brady's action-packed summer - which features his very own gargantuan efforts for the name and sport of blind hockey!
