Love and appreciate your show, particularly the program on diabetes, but wondering...what about vegetarians?? Beans are carbohydrates (as well as being proteins). Personally, as a person with insulin resistance, they do raise my blood sugar, especially the quicker cooking ones, such as lentils and split peas. However, they are an absolutely crucial part of a vegetarian diet. Love to hear your thoughts. Thanks. Donna
