He's been making music since the late '90s: he started with two tape recorders, a microphone, and inspiration from The Prodigy's "The Fat of the Land." He progressed through metal, alternative rock, and pop before settling into electronic music and techno. These days, he's focused on dub sounds: he can spend days stuck on a single track until he realizes everything he hears inside and feels it "sounds just like it should," after which he releases it. For a long time, Sonic Buckwit wrote for himself and didn't think about releasing anything, but in 2022, inspired by Anton Kubikov's music, he sent his material to Greyscale and, instead of a single track, debuted as a full-length EP. Since then, his releases have been released on the [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], Superordinate and Crossfade labels. In his music, he reflects on the universe, quantum physics, the nature of consciousness, and the impact of artificial intelligence on people's lives.
