Jackies Music House Session #256 - "Ross Whisper" Ross Whisper: Having established himself as a full-time gigging DJ for several years, Ross Wilson is now recording under the alias 'Ross Whisper' to produce uplifting House Music that fuses a nostalgic disco sound with contemporary grooves, beats and melodies. Ross was born in Bristol with a very rare condition that almost cost him his life at the age of four when he stopped breathing. A police escort to Great Ormond St Hospital in London for an emergency tracheostomy operation saved him from dying, but left him with permanently damaged vocal cords and a lifelong case of aphonia. Deciding to turn something negative into a positive, the name Ross Whisper came about after a lifetime of strangers asking him “why are you whispering?”. Embarking on his music production journey towards the end of 2024, Ross is now hard at work in the studio cooking up future dance floor classics, and road-testing them in his club sets across the country each weekend. House music from their perspective. Influenced by hip hop, tribal rhythms, 90’s house music, RnB, and 70’s disco and soul. Known for their idiosyncratic and organic sample-driven approach to dance music, Keys N Krates continues to evolve as artists and producers. The Toronto-based trio, made up of Adam Tune, David Matisse, and Greg Dawson, began as a live act that would flip popular hip-hop and dance music tunes. The trio then decided they wanted to create their own music and found success with their breakout single Dum Dee Dum, a song that became an anthem of the subgenre of instrumental trap music. Their affinity for flipping off-kilter samples and writing fun dance floor songs didn’t stop there. Her style is defined by a sophisticated musical selection, rich in lush pianos, groovy basslines, and powerful African-American vocals. Her sets—full of energy, elegance, and sensitivity—bring to life a timeless electronic sound that transcends trends and genres. Since 2021, Mery Blue has built a multifaceted career as a DJ and creator of digital musical shows,launching her first solo projects and quickly gaining national and international recognition. Initiatives such as MY DISCO ROOM Stream Show and TIME TO SOUL Radio Show have positioned her as a artist with a unique vision, even sharing radio line-ups on Radio Deep with icons like Purple Disco Machine and Joey Negro. Jackies Music House Session #248 - "Richie Dio" Richie Dio: Music has always been a passion for Richie Dio since the age of six, when he began his musical instrument training in piano, drums and percussion. Since then, his music performance has taken many forms over the years, from jazz groups, rock bands and orchestras to DJ’ing and music production. Since his first big DJ gigs at NYC’s Tunnel and Limelight the 90s, Richie Dio has played at many mega-clubs and supported such acts as Todd Terry, Chus & Ceballos, Joeski, Oscar G, Harry Romero, Saliva Commandos, Jonathan Peters and others. His movement into music production was a natural outgrowth of his many years of musical training and DJ’ing, inspired further by his cousin, a Grammy-nominated songwriter and former American Idol Judge. The music comprising Richie Dio’s productions incorporate driving drums and percussion, immersive melodies, chord progressions and arpeggios, and various vocal elements. Across several record labels, he has released multiple singles, EPs and remixes within the genres of House, Afro House, Tech House and Melodic House, with tracks on labels including Kevin Saunderson’s KMS Records, Jackies Music, Sektor Rekords, Homewerx Music, Mavek Recordings and R-Trybe, a label formed by internationally-renown producers Huxley, Ramin Rezaie and Bakkis. Richie Dio’s energetic vibe, infectious beats, immersive sounds and wide-range versatility have electrified dancefloors both locally and internationally and have inspired and garnered the growing attention of audiences and fellow artists. If there's one word that defines them, it's House. Loyal to the genre regardless of passing trends, they navigate its full spectrum—Deep, Tech, Minimal, Soulful, and Old School—with remarkable elegance and flawless harmony in their track selection. Long-time residents in some of Mallorca’s most iconic venues, they’ve played at nearly every club and beach club on the island, as well as performing regularly across Spain and abroad. Jackies Music House Session #246 - "Jiyum Kim" Jiyun Kim: Jiyun Kim (formerly known as iamkimkong) has firmly established herself as a force in Berlin’s house music scene in the last few years. Her sets are a dynamic blend of sleek, soulful, and high-energy grooves — seamlessly mixed with a strong sense of flow and a keen ear for selection. Influences from her roots in R&B and hip-hop culture weave through her sound, giving her performances a distinctive, compelling edge. Born and raised in Germany with Korean heritage, jiyun’s musical journey began with classical music training in her childhood. This early foundation sparked a lifelong passion for music, eventually leading to her first residency as a hip-hop and R&B DJ at Berlin’s renowned Prince Charles (2016–2019). As her tastes evolved, she immersed herself in the city’s underground electronic music scene, gradually transitioning toward house music and shaping her unique sonic identity. She regularly performs at iconic venues such as Tresor, Paloma Bar, and Sisyphos in Berlin, alongside appearances on the esteemed radio station Flux FM.
