For the first book that I have ever covered on the podcast, I felt that Ling Ma's novel would be the perfect novel to pick apart due to it's relevance to current world affairs and with regard to the workaholic mentality that Americans maintain even through a pandemic! Will truth be stranger than fiction or is our reality preferable to the one in this book? Let's find out!

They came, they saw, they shot us with a popcorn gun that cost $7000 to make. This is probably one of my top 3 favorite horror movies of all time and I couldn't help myself from pouring over every delicious moment.
