Description

Howdy, it’s Shannon Ford Middleton. I’m an influencer (don’t call me that), past reality show villain, current funny bitch, and host of Probably A Podcast. My life is a series of crazy events, and I’m here to share them, through hell or herpes, if you know you know. From giggling with my friends to diving deep into conversations about life, no topic is off limits here. Expect to laugh, and constantly question if you accidentally flipped your playback speed to 1.5. Join me every Tuesday for your weekly dose of shenanigans on Probably A Podcast.

Shannon talks about her initial fear of childbirth and what helped ease her anxiety. James shares his perspective from the delivery room, and his shock from the shape of Daisy’s head (parents, you know). Epidural, low blood pressure, swelling, catheters, hemorrhoids, but also the overwhelming joy of being parents: don’t miss episode 164 for all things birth of Daisy. TIMESTAMPS:00:00 Introduction and Welcome00:46 Discussing Birth Fears and Expectations02:57 Preparing for Labor04:27 The Final Days Before Birth08:59 Induction Day and Early Labor17:22 Labor Progress and Epidural Experience27:24 The Student Nurse Encounter29:15 Epidural Challenges and Adjustments34:39 The Long Push and Blood Pressure Scare39:10 The Final Push and Delivery50:31 Post-Delivery Reflections52:03 Nurse Support and Baby's First Moments52:42 Record-Breaking Baby Stats53:34 Postpartum Nurse Experiences57:33 Post-Birth Recovery Challenges58:19 Catheter and Swelling01:01:47 Hemorrhoids and Recovery01:03:33 Lazy Bladder and Number 201:15:25 Baby's Head and Recovery01:17:18 Final Thoughts and GratitudeLINKS:Follow Shannon: https://instagram.com/probablyshannon/Follow Producer Courtney: https://instagram.com/whatsacourtney/Follow Probably A Podcast: https://instagram.com/probablyapodcast/Watch the full episode on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/probablyshannonfordProduced by Dear MediaSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

This COULD have been a good episode, but Shannon needs to just close her mouth sometimes. The number of times she talked over him was embarrassing and made this hard to listen to. Girl is thirsty and it’s showing.

I feel like I'm having a conversation with my girlfriends when I listen to them. Hilarious and honest!
