I sat down and got to chat with Michael Squier who is currently making the Baja Bug Movie, a documentary about the history and the people of the Baja Bug movement. I also got to sit down with my good pal Gary Emory who created the first ever Baja Bug and started the movement that we all know today. We had an awesome time talking about getting stuck in Mexico, where the fascination of Baja Bugs came from, and what you can expect from the movie.Michael: @thebajabugmovieGary: @garyemoryNoah: @the_hotrod_kid

Jim Sieber Ep .21

2022-02-0349:36

Jim Sieber is a well known local hotrod guy in my small town of McMinnville. He is known for driving his high horsepower over the top street machines around town and his friendly welcoming personality that he shares with everyone he meets. He is also a volunteer for our towns biggest car event, Cruising McMinnville, where people come and cruise up and down our historic downtown 3rd street just like American Graffiti. In this episode, we talked about his circle track racing days, owning a '68 charger at the age of 14, building his new shop, and so much more! I had a wonderful time talking with Jim as always and I think you guys will really enjoy it as well.

I first met Sean at Bonneville and afterwards started seeing him at many other events. I had a great conversation with him learning about his unique '31 roadster, his newly acquired '32 3 window, starting car clubs in middle school, his time in the Navy, his time playing jazz in France, his degree in chemical engineering, and surprisingly still more. These days he runs his popular instagram page @barron_engineering where he shares all of his bad ass cars that he has along with his collections of antiques. The audio in this one did not turn out as good as I would have liked but I had a great time talking with Sean and appreciate him baring with me.Sean: @barron_engineeringNoah: @the_hotrod_kid
In this episode I sat down with Zac of Wired Customs and Dan of Greasy Boy Kustoms. Our zoom call had some bumps in the road but I think you guys will really enjoy this one! Both Dan and Zac own and operate full time hotrod shops and also host their own YouTube channels. Their most recent endeavor is a collaboration with Speed & Culture Magazine where they will be chopping a '34 Ford live on the Rod and Style TV YouTube channel. Aside from their collaboration with Speed & Kulture, you can watch Dan on YouTube at Greasy Boy Kustoms, and Zac at Wired Customs. For folks in the Waverly Virginia area,  hit up Zac for all of your hotrod needs and for folks near Garner North Carolina, Dan is your guy to go to. Noah: @the_hotrod_kidZac: @wiredcustoms.vaDan: @greasyboykustoms
