The Giving Tree - By Shel Silverstein

The Giving Tree is an American children's picture book  written and illustrated by Shel Silverstein. First published in 1964 by Harper & Row, it has become one of Silverstein's best-known titles, and has been translated into numerous languages. As a child, I remember that this was one of my favorite books, and I wanted my parents to read it to me every single night. This book presents a special bond between the tree and the boy, but it's thorough interpretation is not to take things for granted, at the end you will find yourself empty handed.  Thank you for listening, Liron Sara Feldman.
