Description
Three “comedy” “friends” with incredibly average knowledge of sports come together with the common goal of supporting and signal boosting women in sports. Each episode they discuss games and athletes that have been on their radar, social issues surrounding the sport or league, which uniforms are cute and stuff, and random references to Hey Arnold. The world of women’s sports should be in the mainstream conversation and by gol if these three won’t make it happen!!!!

Brace yourself for a slew of Michigan-centric references before we get into the NWSL drama (bad and good), the WNBA playoffs (exciting), and Athletes Unlimited Softball wrap up (good job everyone!). Now is a great time to be following women’s sports, while the goals in the NWSL are flowing, and a 5’8” WNBA player got a triple double the other day. So come join us!!!! The water’s warm. Also, Julia interchanges the word “cliffhanger” with “spoiler alert” too many times in this episode to not mention it. As always, listen, subscribe, watch, comment, tell your friends/family, ask us what we meant by something, dox us, and que vean los deportes femeninos!

In this episode, we recap the USWNT friendlies, WNBA playoffs, NWSL playoffs, the US Open, Athletes Unlimited Softball, and some other random cutie stuff including best chicken tenders. Don’t listen for that though because we don’t even come to a consensus. Mary Beth and Katie are fresh off a live USWNT viewing in Cleveland, Julia starts slipping down a merch rabbit hole, MB tries to defend Shelby Rogers (sp?) (don’t care), and Katie drops fire insight even through a laggy connection. Tune in to see what our hopes are for playoff time and as always, join us in watching and supporting women’s sports! 30 big ones!!! We celebrate this important milestone at She’s Good! by updating you on women’s sports. We talk paralympics, NWSL drama and contemplations, Lax girls at Athletes Unlimited, and our current merch. If Gotham FC can do game day fits, we can do pod day fits. Julia struggles with green screen (watch us on youtube to see the trials and tribulations of her green screen related mood). If you take anything away from this episode, it is to watch Goalball in the paralympics. Trust us, google it and carve out the rest of your day. As always, tell your friends about us, review, subscribe, comment, laugh, cry, watch women’s sports.

The second and final installment of Tokyo 2020/2021 Olympics Recap is here 4 ur listening and viewing enjoyment! Did we say we were gonna try and do many of these to keep you updated on our thoughts throughout the games? Yeah, but it's not like it's on record! Unless you count "this podcast" as on record. Either way, we get into it on all things women's sports from the Olympics (spoiler, and one men's thing!). Katie has re-emerged as alive and well, although is very much still perished as her power went out again before this episode, so if her audio sounds like she's calling in on Car Guys in 1997, it's because she so graciously called into the zoom from her phone for this. The real fans know this is actually just good plot development in the story of Katie and power outages.
Anyway, we cannot thank you enough for listening, telling other people about it, following us on social media, sharing, reviewing, subscribing, following, pressing play and turning the volume all the way down, pressing play and putting it on 2x speed, or anything else you do to support this podcast and in turn, women's sports.

Julia and Mary Beth are on their own, bringing you your first olympics recap episode. Our goal was for this to be like 15 minutes #lol. But still tune in to find out everything you need to know about the first 5ish days of the olympics - USWNT, undefeated softball, 3v3 basketball, even fencing! and more. In fact, everything else. Oh and Katie unfortunately has perished, but is 100% alive and ok.
This ep is all about gearing up for the ‘21 Olympics. And also catching up on sports since we last talked. And tangents. But mostly OLYMPICS! Whether you like em or not, they’re upon us and we’ve got our google calendars set. Tune in, find out what we’re excited for. Like, subscribe, and share!
Note: this episode was recorded on Monday, July 19, and a lot has happened since. Sorry :/

Hang on tight! Mr. Toad would be proud of this wild ride of an episode! Keep up as we go through Olympic roster announcements for basketball, olympic roster predictions for soccer (although by the time this comes out the roster will be set so, sorry bout dat), Target™’s NWSL trading cards (get yours today!), the heat of softball world series, and strange occurrences in Olympic trials. But in all honesty, most of the episode is spent looking things up on google and twitter so feel free to just skip this one. But actually do listen to hear what MB compares to the cringe factor of Sabrina The Teenage Witch College Years opening credits

In our record breaking 55 minute episode (whoa are we ok?) we get into updates in the NWSL Challenge Cup 2021, WNBA Season 25, and we also give an injury update. Plus, Katie got a new puppy! This means J and MB try and pull some of their own weight for once. Jk lol the whole episode is basically a commercial for late 90’s adidas wear. Also, SHE’S GOOD! IS DOING A LIVE (VIRTUAL) RECORDING FOR “DETROIT WOMEN OF COMEDY” FESTIVAL ON JUNE 4, 7PM!!!!!!! We’re very excited and you should totally tune in.

In this our best episode yet (via recent polling), we perform a task that nobody asked for but everybody needed: We matched each WNBA team with what Grey’s Anatomy character they correspond to. Spoiler alert: Connecticut Sun is not who you think. We also discuss NWSL Challenge Cupdates (ya like that?!), and Katie’s future puppy, cuddly female #3!!!!! Like, subscribe, share, text us, watch Grey’s Anatomy, but more importantly watch the Challenge Cup Final on May 8, 2021 and the WNBA’s upcoming 25th season!!!!!!!!

Episode 22 - Aari's House
March Madness is over and we’re here to talk about the final four (not, as it turns out, the final THREE). We talk Aari-zona and Adia Barnes, Stanford and VanDerveer’s national tour leading up to the tourney, and the cameras lingering a little too long on South Carolina’s faces after getting knocked out. (We spent a lot of time on UCONN in the last ep, and the media covers UCONN enough for a season of episodes, so go there if you’re interested). Plus, it’s FRESH JERSEY DROP TIME for the WNBA and the NWSL. Katie can’t purchase all of these, so we need you to step up and get some sweet new merch and support women’s sports. NWSL Challenge Cup and USWNT Friendlies obviously come up as well. Listen, subscribe, share, be u.

Wow!! After a brief hiatus we’re back baby! With the NCAA basketball tournament under way, we dive into the…”differences”...in the men’s and women’s tourney resources; who’s in the sweet 16; and who we think’s gonna make it to the finals (Iowa vs UofM baby! @ us!). We also catch up on a bunch of sports that happened in the last month - Athletes Unlimited Volleyball, the PWPHA has some updates, and Champions League going on across the pond. As always, plenty of off topic nonsense too. Listen! Subscribe! Share! Watch NCAA tournament and all other women's sports!
She Believed Cup
She’s Good! has now done as many episodes as Lil Pump has had birthdays. Which is 20 in case there is any confusion. In this episode the girls catch up on the outcome of the ’21 Australian Open, cover the happenings of the She Believes Cup, and dip their toes into the new arrival of Athletes Unlimited Volleyball!!! Very exciting. As always, subscribe, and get out there and play! Just kidding, only if you want. Share the ep! Review! Bye!

The girls snag a real life expert and their very first MALE for the pod! That's right, Julia's brother and #1 Arsenal fan Ben Schroeder joins the crew for some good old fashioned sports talk. They make him explain the league structure of European soccer as well as his job in sports analytics. No for real have you ever seen Moneyball? That's like his job. Subscribe, like, share, watch women's sports!!!!Recorded on December 26, 2020
In this crucial episode celebrate the reunion of the Mewis Sisters (aka Mewisters aka The Mewies aka Mew Two) on the field as USWNT teammates. It was only fitting that we brought on sister of the pod Laura Kolbicz to chat about the USWNT vs Netherlands friendly on 11/27. The gals also get into the settlement reached between USWNT and US Soccer on the equal pay battle - huge news! Recorded on December 2, 2020
