Support and listen to the full podcast: https://www.patreon.com/posts/spirit-of-2014-p-104121350 Ten years ago, the Russian Spring rolled through eastern and southern Ukraine, leading to the reunification of Crimea with Russia. The new government in Kiev, having just taken power through the Euromaidan, decided to crush the pro-Russian protests by force, leading to the War in the Donbass. Few remember those events in detail - the spring of 2014 is covered in a thick veil of propaganda and mythology. We have scoured long-forgotten blogs, defunct news websites, talked to participants and checked out many other archival sources, all with one goal: reconstructing a detailed chronology of those events — the Spirit of 2014! Tischlein, deck dich 🇦🇷🇨🇺🇧🇷

good podcast, i appreciate the info. Though a bit anticommunist and tending towards national chauvinism. Stalin and Lenin were the shining light of humanity and showed the path to the future. They were not "lunatics" as claimed in the podcast. We only have the choice between communism or fascism. Liberalism is not a stable system and will turn one way or another. as things go, fascists have the upper hand right now. we must do everything to bring about world revolution. russia and china can play the key role here. western european citizen are mostly indoctrinated and deplorable victims of their warmongering regimes. but still a few resist the chauvinistic ideology of Western superiority, that the current state of world capitalism guarantees us. we look to russia and china with great hope and expect them to lead the world into a better era of peaceful coexistance and respectful partnership amongst all nations.

If you enjoy listening to “analysis” of Russia’s war against Ukraine that is pro-Russian, amateurish, and wrong about nearly everything, this podcast may be for you.
