Elämää leikkikentillä -podcastin ensimmäisessä jaksossa paneudutaan varhaiskasvatuksen sosionomin rooliin osana työyhteisöä. Keskustellaan siitä, miten varhaiskasvatuksen sosionomi toimii arjessa lasten ja perheiden hyvinvoinnin tukena, osallisuutta edistäen sekä yhdistävänä tekijänä monialaisten perheiden palveluissa. Jaksossa tarkastellaan, miten sosiaalipedagoginen ajattelu ja työote näkyvät varhaiskasvatuksen sosionomin työssä sekä pohditaan sosionomin tehtävää ja merkitystä varhaiskasvatuksessa sekä koulutuksessa syntyvää osaamista Keskustelemassa ovat Satu Hakanen, Saila Nevanen ja Maija Ahoniemi. Miten yhteistyö, monialaisuus ja osallisuus luovat parhaan kasvuympäristön lapsille ja tukevat kestävää elämää perheiden arjessa? Satu Hakanen, lehtori, Metropolia Ammattikorkeakoulu Satu toimii Metropoliassa sosiaalialan lehtorina ja vastaa MEininki-yhteistyöpäiväkodit kehittämistyöstä. Hänen opetuksensa ja kiinnostuksensa painottuu varhaiskasvatukseen sekä luovan toiminnan soveltamiseen sosiaalialan sekä varhaiskasvatuksen työssä. Saila Nevanen, yliopettaja, Metropolia Ammattikorkeakoulu Kasvatustieteen tohtori ja filosofian maisteri Saila Nevanen toimii yliopettajana ja tutkintovastaavana sosiaalialan tutkinto-ohjelmassa Metropoliassa. Hän on perehtynyt lapsiin, nuoriin ja perheisiin liittyviin kysymyksiin. Erityisenä kiinnostuksen kohteena hänellä ovat taiteen ja leikin yhteydet sekä taidekasvatuksen mahdollisuudet lasten oppimisen ja hyvinvoinnin tukemisessa. Ohjasimme opiskelijoiden kanssa teltassa rohkeuteen ja tunteisiin liittyviä draama- ja musiikkityöpajoja. Teltassa vieraili kahden päivän aikana noin 500 lasta ja heidän läheistään.
