In the third and final installment of the 2026 Italy series, listen in as we tackle the food capital of Italy and explore some of the finest mosaics in all of Europe! Bologna is an incredible city with breathtaking churches on every corner and mouth watering pasta in every restaurant. And if that wasn’t enough, Ravenna, home to 8 UNESCO World Heritage sites, is just an hour train ride away, boasting some of the best Byzantine mosaics in the world, making it a perfect day trip from the home of Bolognese!
Italy is full of incredible places, and while Rome, Florence, and Venice get most of the attention, smaller cities like Verona are doing just as much but with fewer crowds and better prices. Beautiful Venetian architecture, stunning ancient Roman ruins, and grand Renaissance churches make Verona a destination that will surely be growing more and more popular in the near future. Add to it the fact that it's within hours of several incredible day trips like Lake Garda and Padua, and you have a city that is worth taking up multiple days of your Italian Itinerary!
Rome, Florence, Venice? Not this time. Italy is an incredibly diverse country and in this episode we will explore the Northernmost region: The Italian Alps! With tons of great hiking, expansive views, and great German food, this will be the adventurer's trip of a lifetime. Listen in as I give itineraries and tips for traveling in this area of Italy. Special bonus, but with a one year old on board, it does add some complications, so if you're worried about traveling with a baby, listen in and let me ease your anxiety! The Dolomites are one of the babiest-friendly travel locations I've ever seen, so strap them in and let's go!
From rolling hills full of sheep, to rocky peaks carved by ancient glaciers, the South Island of New Zealand is an epic travel location filled with awe-inspiring views and insane adventure opportunities. Add in a baby and you're in for a wild ride that will guarantee lifelong memories. If you're interested in exploring this amazing country, or are wondering if travel with a baby to an international location is doable, listen in as we start the newest season of Educate Your Travel!
