Description

The Happy Turtle Podcast is for women who want it all!

Hi I’m Irene Farmer, journalist by day, a writer early in the morning, a mother most of the time and a spiritual being forever. I help women thrive in career and family life, without compromising who they truly are.

Because... if you don't do what you want, you'll end up doing the things other people want you to.

I love talking about greek archetypes and how they empower women by awakening parts of themselves they might have forgotten.

In this podcast I will share my journey as an ambitious professional and a mum, and talk about the real things in life.

Imagine having a glass of your favorite wine with a good friend whom you can share with and say it like it is. Also the things we women don’t always talk about.

Here's some topics you can expect me to talk about:

I’ll guide you to discover your essence through connecting with female prototypes of Greek mythology. Awakening the parts of them in you so that you see them mirrored in yourself.

You’ll gain more awareness of the importance of your feminine side in the context of society. So that you will feel more assertive when facing conditioning from society and stay true to yourself.

Feel whole as a person. Who you always have been is now fully awakened and embodied. You feel at home in yourself. This shines through and has a ripple effect. Beacon of I can do it. Live a balanced life and help others from a position of power.

The Female in the Greek tradition is anything but passive. The Female can dominate peace as well as war. If attacked The Female has the power to claim her power by transforming herself, into a deer, for example, the sacred animal of the goddess Artemis, and her attacker, as Circe does when she turns Odysseus’ crew into pigs. Transformation is feminine. Leave a rating and review below and let me know what your thoughts are about this episode! Connect with me on Facebook and Instagram, I would love to get to know you more!
Ancient Greek Female Archetypes are a manual of our shared feminine existence, as we share a certain degree of biological identity as well. That part of ourselves that mediates between what you know that you know, and where knowledge actually is, is where archetypes are seated. Ancient Greek female archetypes are not about religion and morality. They are more of a survival map. Leave a rating and review below and let me know what your thoughts are about this episode!
