In this episode we look at a project that has been running and how they have linked countries to share in the benefits of raising funds. The impact on peoples lives can be wonderful and if it involved schools with different circumstances it helps to create a global climate of empathy and peace.
We look at some amazing charities to help inspire you to do good on the day. Learn from some of the great work that is being done. Why on share their stories, join them or even be inspired to create innovative projects of your own.
World Transformation Organisation develop a number of projects, one of them is the website: Weinspireyou.com. Why not link your WTD initiative to a podcast that can be hosted on the website. It'll be a great way to articulate your goals, share in what you did on the day and continue the momentum of your individual or organisations project.
We learn from NASAs Apollo 13 programme that is now described by the space agency as a, "successful failure'. This episode cites and explores how Live Aid and We are the World charities succeeded in bringing people together to work for common good. The purpose of this episode is to encourage WTD participants and everyday people seeking inspiration to make changes for good to consider that collaboration can be a key attribute for project success.
Recorded before a recent WTD event, in this episode we meet the founder of WTD. Harinder outlines his existing projects and how he conceived the idea for everyone to have an opportunity to change transformation either big or small.
In this episode we head to India to learn lessons, pardon the pun (!) to shine the spotlight on the recently awarded United Nations Winner of the Global Teacher Prize - Mr Ranjit Disale. Stop Press! Wow! We also learnt that Ranjit said, “Sharing is growing, god gives us and we have to share it, we don’t have to keep it for ourselves. That’s why I decided to share 50% of the prize money with my fellow teachers. I believe together we can all make a difference and make the world a better place”. https://wtohub.org/ WORLD TRANSFORMATION DAY THE FIRST SUNDAY IN APRIL
This week we explore the concept of paying it forward. Its an incredible concept that can bring about real change. Simply put, it is about returning a favour or kindness to another or others around you. Done in a self-less way its even better! i.e: not expecting anything back but giving from the heart.
This week we meet Moshin who did something amazing during a recent World Transformation Day. Martin Luther King spoke about doing great small things. This is a lovely example of doing something different and bringing joy through the experience.
