Description
The Deep Share, hosted by Andy Rouse, explores the hidden layers of history, culture, power, and human civilization, examining the ideas, evidence, contradictions, and forgotten narratives that often sit beneath the conventional story. From ancient history and lost civilizations to modern institutions, esoteric traditions, and the forces that have shaped our understanding of the past, each episode takes a deep dive into subjects that challenge all easy explanations.
This show is not about accepting a story simply because it is unconventional - or rejecting one because it is mainstream. It's about asking better questions.
Let's get deep, and share what we find.

In this live episode of The Deep Share, I'm joined by Duane Hayes, Doug Mckenty, and Nick Heys for a deep dive into the origins of the modern concept of progress - and the historical movements, personalities, institutions, and ideas that helped shape the world we live in today.
Where did the idea come from that humanity is constantly moving forward toward a better, freer, more perfect future?
Through Duane's newest presentation, we trace a complicated historical thread through antinomianism, Sabbateanism, Frankism, the French Revolution, utopianism, progressivism, and the emergence of modern internationalism.
The investigation moves through Rabbi Judah Loew ben Bezalel, Rudolf II's Prague, Johannes Kepler, Tycho Brahe, Moses Dobruska, and the intellectual world surrounding early modern Europe, and the transformation of older religious and messianic concepts into increasingly secular visions of human advancement.
From there, we follow the idea of progress into the modern era:
- The rise of American Progressivism
- Louis Brandeis and the Progressive movement
- The “efficiency” and “preparedness” movements
- The origins of the modern military-industrial complex
- The Paris Peace Conference
- The Treaty of Versailles
- The League of Nations and the eventual creation of the United Nations
- The emergence of modern internationalism
- The Council on Foreign Relations and the networks surrounding the post-WWI order
- World's Fairs and the cultural promotion of technological and social “progress”
- The relationship between progressivism, utopianism, and centralized authority
Throughout the discussion, we return to several recurring concepts: inversion, antinomianism, universalism, utopianism, and the replacement of traditional social and religious structures with an ever-expanding vision of engineered human progress.
The central question is what happens when “progress” itself becomes an ideology?
And who gets to decide what direction humanity is supposed to be progressing toward?

In this episode, I sit down with Abbe de Vere - author, researcher, and steward of a complex and often controversial legacy.
We explore the deep roots of British nobility, the tightly interwoven nature of aristocratic bloodlines, and the space where documented history begins to blur into mythology. Drawing from her book Inbred Britain, we discuss ideas that have long lived on the fringe — but from a more grounded, terrestrial perspective. We talk about lineage, symbolism, mythology, and the possibility that some of our oldest stories may be rooted in something far more human than we’ve been led to believe.. from both mainstream academia, as well as the alternative fringe.
We also discuss the influence of her father, Nicholas de Vere, and how she has spent the last decade refining and grounding ideas that have often been misunderstood or exaggerated.
This is a conversation about history, memory, identity, and what it all might mean for us today.

FOIA's existence negates its' legitimacy.
Your alternative narratives are fed to you the same way academia and legacy news delivers "facts". You're led by the nose, no matter if you believe mainstream narratives or you believe reptilians run the world. It DOES NOT MATTER.
