Long time between drinks, but I thought I'd express some of my thoughts on this new MK Trust and Safety System (https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/17qnciu/mk_vendor_trust_and_safety_system_and_rule_change/) Do you agree? Do you disagree? Hopefully it makes a few things get thought about a little deeper, and helps improve things for the community. As always, look after yourselves, each other, and Happy Clacking
In this special, Phil and Colin from Ploopy join me to talk about their company, what they do, why they do it, and some of the challenges they face and tackle to bring their range of open-source designs to the community (and the world!). You can check out their stuff via: https://ploopy.co Join their Subreddit at: https://www.reddit.com/r/ploopy/ and also their Discord Server at: https://discord.gg/qYK9psKrNY
Hi Everyone~! Happy New Financial Year! Hope you're all keeping well, and that you enjoy another random musing episode of The Board.
This episode, I talk through the concept of Stakeholder Engagement, and a little on the Thomas-Kilman Conflict Mode assessment, and how it could potentially help those in the keyboard community. Hope you're all looking after yourselves and each other! Until next time, Happy Clacking :)
Happy LNY! Hope it is a happy and prosperous one for all that celebrate. In this episode I talk about DnD OGL debacle; passion, quality, and excellence; and skillsets. Additionally, go check out the interview with Tamas from Keyboard Builders Digest in the Keebio Blog here: https://blog.keeb.io/interview-with-tamas-of-kbdnews/ Stay Safe, be good to each other, and until next time, Happy Clacking!
Happy New Year! A recap on 2023, and my hopes for whats coming up in 2023. Stay safe, be good to each other, and until next time, Happy Clacking!
Just another status episode, and future direction thoughts for The Board.
Thanks for all your patience! Link to the article - https://freedom.to/blog/danny/ Happy Clacking!
A bit of a later episode, but what does modelling cars in clay, hack and slash bonsai, and soy sauce making have to do with Keyboards? What does the title even mean? I guess you'd have to listen to find out :P
A bit of update around the house, new competition for May, and then I hop onto discord for a chat with some locals who call themselves the most scuffed board makers on the discord.
What a two weeks its been. Slapped in the face with some unexpected problems with the house, and then a kick in the guts to follow up... Well, we're all still alive and wriggling so we'll just have to keep on trucking. Hope you're all well, look after yourselves!
Bit of an unusual one this week, I pretty much just talk about the house renovations so if you're thinking of buying an older house and renovating it, it might give you some insight into what you might run into. A splash of keyboard related-ness at the end though just to keep it in-theme :P
Its been a hectic two weeks here, so the episode is a little somewhat slapdash. Stay safe, stay dry, and catch you in a fortnight!
Wet wet wet the weather has been these last two weeks, but really the main focus this week has been about GMK. Be good to each other, and thank you for listening.
A week out of schedule, we get through the Jan winners for the competition and announce the Feb competition, plus mull over what taste changes and the old question of "how much is too much" when it comes to keyboards. Thanks for listening, and take care of yourselves!
Wow, what a fortnight of stress chemicals relating to the house hunt, well, it certainly is a learning experience in managing stress and risk, but I still found some time to get some topics together. This week I have a flab about social media behaviour, a bit of a weird choice in keyboard layout, some scammer behaviour, amongst this week's topics. Hope you enjoy it, and be good to each other!
Happy New Year! Hope you all had a good Christmas and New Years, and are ready for another year of keyboards :) I talk about TherminGoat's latest blog post, and some about what I experienced in doing a lot of typing tests.
The last episode for the year. Bit of a ramble I'm afraid, but thank you all for your love and support this year, and hope to talk to you again in the new year :) Stay safe, and enjoy the holiday season! Sincerely, Don, from The Board.
This fortnight's episode, I talk over a few things: - Random CNC manu reaching out to me - Owl Labs Flips - PCB Bending - Switch Sounds Hopefully it makes up for last episode being a bit weak~ ** Our Instagram is at https://www.instagram.com/theboardpodcast You can also catch us on Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/theboardpodcast)
Bit of a lacklustre episode, I certainly don't think its the best, but got to still make episodes right? A few thoughts this week on if GBs need an additional check point/approval as part of the process, and also a few thoughts on cement keyboards.

I couldn't hear the host and the guest was way too loud.
