In this episode, the guys tell the sad story of 13-year-old Nicole Lovell and her disturbing murder by the hands of David Eisenhauer and Natalie Keepers in 2016. David, a successful student and track athlete, attended Virginia Tech in Blacksburg during the time of the pedophilic relationship. Nicole and David would communicate through the social media app KIK. David and Natalie would set out a plan to get rid of Nicole after allegedly being afraid of Nicole becoming pregnant with David's child. The crime shocked the whole New River Valley as it added another horrific story to the Blacksburg area.

In this episode, the boys discuss the gruesome and nightmarish murder of former Virginia Tech student Xin Yang. Yang was attacked by obsessed lover Haiyang Zhu who was also a student at the time. The two met during an international group the campus provided and in 2009, the school would be hit with another tragic event. The boys also get the chance to interview an employee that was there the day the decapitation happened and saw what someone should never see.

In this episode, Justin reads the disturbing murder story of Dennis Depue and how he killed his wife Marilynn. Dennis was a husband and father of three children. His personality would worry and frustrate his family to the point where Marilynn divorced him. With this only building up more rage, Dennis one day snaps and changes his life and his family's life forever. The popular horror film Jeepers Creepers was inspired by this story which took place in the state of Michigan. The year was 1990.

In this episode of It's Cryptic Out There, we sit down with private investigator Jeff Pike who came in contact with the press pertaining to the Virginia State Police and their flawed examination with pedophile and serial murderer Austin Lee Edwards. Edwards was an officer of the Virginia State Police and Washington County Sheriff's Department before traveling to California, kidnapping an underage girl and killing her mother and grandparents. Justin and Josh received conversation exchanges from another victim who came across Edwards online back in 2014 when she was only 12 years old. Pike and the boys discuss the in depth situations on what went wrong with Edwards examination while Pike presents the polygraph.
