They also give their opinions about if the MVP race is now only between Embiid, Giannis and Jokic. They discuss if they think the Lakers will miss the Play-In Tournament, they give some predictions for the Warriors, and they go over which teams are the teams to beat in each conference. Throughout the episode are hilarious jokes and such entertaining content so be sure to check it out. This is a great one you do not want to miss!

The Starting 5 is back with another great episode, and this one is special because this one marks 1 year since the FIRST EVER Grab Don't Slap episode was uploaded! The guys have a great show to give, and they waste no time jumping into it. They start the show off with some controversial Over/Under Reactions. They then cover the current state of the Warriors, including their recent struggles, injuries, Jonathan Kuminga stepping up, and oh yeah, Klay Thompson coming back! Josh gives a brief story of what it was like to see Klay back for the first time in over two seasons in person! The guys go over a possible Duke reunion in New York, and the recent injuries taking place in the league, including Draymond (AKA The Dancing Bear), Dame, KD, and more. They cover the Lakers (and specifically Russell Westbrook's) struggles, and they go over Kyrie joining the Nets again, and if him being a part-time player is beneficial for the team. They move on to Over/Under Reactions and they throw a few statements out to talk about. They then discuss Steph passing 3,000 three-pointers made, and where the Warriors stand right now. Next, the guys discuss all of the players being put into the COVID protocols, and how there are many old players making a comeback to the NBA, and boy does that start an absolutely hilarious conversation that you need to hear They wrap up the show talking about Kyrie finally returning to the Nets, and if his part-time play hurts them or benefits them. This is such a funny episode, so be sure to tune in to hear some awesome content about the above topics, and way way more.

Next, they discuss the Damian Lillard trade rumors that have been circling, and if they believe it would be a good idea for Dame and Ben Simmons to team up. They give their opinions on if they had the ability to turn three franchises around, which ones they would like to see succeed. The Starting 5 deliver a great episode discussing what went down during the first week of the season. They kick off the show by adding a new segment to the show's lineup, called Overreaction or Underreaction. A few guys come with some takes and statements that you can pull from the first week of the season, and everybody decides if that take is an overreaction or an underreaction. This segment sparks up some great conversation, and this definitely won't be the last time you see this on the show. They then transition into what seems like an every-episode occurrence on the show, the Ben Simmons drama. They discuss what they think will happen with Simmons and Daryl Morey going forward. But you won't be hearing about Simmons too much anymore from the Starting 5... you'll understand why if you tune into this episode. After that, they discuss realistic expectations from the Warriors this season. They then go over players who were snubbed off the Top 75 list, and they talk about players who could be taken off. They go over the Lakers' early season struggles, and they wrap up the show by asking each other "Is the Eastern Conference finally starting to surpass the Western Conference?" This show is filled with great and entertaining conversation, so be sure to check it out!

With the first few preseason games taking place, that means that the NBA IS BACK! The guys kick off the episode discussing Andrew Wiggins' vaccine situation, and the news around Kyrie and his vaccine situation. They then discuss more of the Ben Simmons drama, as we inch closer to a potential trade. After that, they give their opinions on the Suns not deciding to give Deandre Ayton a max extension just yet, and the Nuggets giving Michael Porter Jr. his $200 million extension. They also talk about Ja Morant's top 5 point guard list, the Rockets young core, Kanye recruiting 5-star recruits to his new high school, and the Warriors first preseason game plus their expectations for the season. They waste no time jumping into the show by congratulating the Milwuakee Bucks on winning the NBA Finals, and also giving Royce his credit because he was the only member of the lineup to choose the Bucks over the Suns. Next, the guys unpack their thoughts on the draft, and who the biggest winners & losers were from that night. They briefly discuss Team USA and if they believe they will take home the gold. After that, they discuss what the Russell Westbrook trade means for the Lakers, and if the Lakers should be considered favorites to come out of the west next season. To wrap up the show, the guys go over all the free agent signings that took place over the past few days, what teams so far are the biggest winners & losers from free agency, and what the Warriors need to do to get themselves back in title contention.
