Today I’m sharing why I’m taking a social media break in September and the positive ways it’s impacted my life—especially during such a challenging season in the world. I open up about going from 90% to 100% known with my friends and what that freedom feels like—fully known and fully loved. I reflect on the value of life, how I spend my time off social media living a rich and meaningful life, and how processing something so traumatic feels different when you step away from the online noise. I also talk about how God is working all things together for good. This episode is a bit of a smorgasbord, straight from my heart, as if we were sitting together at the park just chatting. In today’s episode, we’re taking our marriage conversation to the next level. You know how much I’ve shared about using “easy thinking” to strengthen my marriage—focusing on what IS good and what I DO love about my husband. Over the past year, I’ve also leaned into building more “shoulder-to-shoulder” connection, and it’s been a game-changer for our relationship. Today, I’m sharing practical ways to create more fun, friendship, and connection in your marriage so you and your spouse can feel like true partners and best friends. These simple marriage tips have helped us grow closer, enjoy life together, and keep our relationship strong. I’m so grateful for the growth we’ve experienced, and I hope this encourages you in your own marriage too!Learn more: paigeschmidt.comWork with Paige:Group Coaching: paigeschmidt.com/livebrightly 1:1 Coaching: https://www.paigeschmidt.com/private-coaching-with-paige/Connect with Paige:Subscribe to the podcast!Email her directly: paige@paigeschmidt.comInstagram: @paigeschmidt
In today’s episode, we’re talking about why the thought “what was I thinking?” often shows up when you’re making positive changes in your life. Sure, it makes sense to think that after a choice clearly out of alignment with your values (like drinking too much and feeling sick the next day). But what about when you make a choice you thought you wanted—and still end up asking yourself the same question? Does that mean you made the wrong decision? Let’s dive in.Also see episode #144 Enjoying Change if you’re wanting to feel better as you make any meaningful change in your life. Today, I wanted to record this episode as if we were sitting together on my deep, comfy couch – wrapped in blankets, holding hot cups of coffee, and just getting to know each other. In this episode, I share what my life was like before Jesus, how I grew up, what first drew me to Him, and how He ultimately filled my heart completely. Since then, I’ve never felt alone – He’s been with me through every season, especially in the hardest ones. Love you all. I’m praying for every woman who listens 💛Learn more: paigeschmidt.comWork with Paige:Group Coaching: paigeschmidt.com/livebrightly 1:1 Coaching: https://www.paigeschmidt.com/private-coaching-with-paige/Connect with Paige:Subscribe to the podcast!Email her directly: paige@paigeschmidt.comInstagram: @paigeschmidt
What an amazing episode with Allie Marie Smith where we talk about some really profound reasons why we should all consider how much time we’re giving to social media. Truly, this is one of the most–if not the most–impactful conversations I’ve had about social media, with God right at the center of it all.We talked about how other people’s memories can start to feel like ours, how we were made for personal, in-real-life communities of about 150 people, how we were never designed to take in this much information, what our hands were actually created to do, and why we feel so stuck in dissatisfaction and comparison. If you’re a woman experiencing any form of anxiety, listen to this episode. And read Allie’s new book. Go through it with a group of friends, and give yourself space for a real reset.I’m truly so moved by our whole conversation–it’s made me completely rethink how I engage with social media.Connect with Allie:Social media bookWonderfully Made BookAllie's websiteWonderfully Made websiteAllie's IGLearn more: paigeschmidt.comWork with Paige:Group Coaching: paigeschmidt.com/livebrightly 1:1 Coaching: https://www.paigeschmidt.com/private-coaching-with-paige/Connect with Paige:Subscribe to the podcast!Email her directly: paige@paigeschmidt.comInstagram: @paigeschmidt
What if the changes you’re making didn’t have to feel like a burden… but could actually bring you joy? In this episode, we’re talking about what it looks like to enjoy the changes you're making so they actually last. I’m sharing real-life examples from my own journey—like budgeting with joy, feeling lighter in my marriage, finding peace in my health rhythms, and building a business with God at the center. These shifts didn’t start out easy. Some felt overwhelming at first. But as I leaned into the why behind the change, used my thoughts to support the process, and focused on what I was saying yes to, the changes became life-giving. And joyful. And permanent. If you're in a season of change—or you want to be—this episode will help you dream again. You'll be reminded that change can feel good. You’ll be invited to see yourself as the woman you're becoming. The world feels so loud right now. Social media is noisy, and it can feel like there's pressure to post, to have strong opinions, to take sides. Some days you may feel seen and loved; other days, maybe judged or misunderstood. But remember, what matters most is that God knows your heart. And from the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks. So take a moment to breathe. Get quiet. Go to God, and ask Him to align your heart with His. Love Him, love others, and be slow to judge. Only God truly knows our hearts, so leave it to Him. Love you all so much.
This is my last episode for 2024–I’ll be taking a break from the podcast and Instagram, and enjoy the quiet olden golden days of blogging over on Substack. Picture: hot coffee, early mornings, writing. Join me there for peace, quiet, and drawing close to God.

Moving from "feeling" worthy to knowing our worth as rooted in Christ requires a shift in our mindset and faith. When we base our worth on external circumstances—like career, relationships, or health—we tie our value to things that are temporary, unstable, and can fluctuate.
However, true worth is not about what we do or what happens to us; it’s about who we are in Christ. Listen in for more, and join us in Live Brightly for an online Christian Bible Study with other women who love God, and will love you.
