As we welcome fall and winter for 2021, the question on all our mind's is, "What should I do with all these leaves?!" Well, in this epidode, I do my best to explain the benefits of leaf litter and show how it can be utilized to our benefit. It is shocking to research how much of the world does not have access to quality and sustainably grown foods. Even more surprising is that not many people realize that a significant portion of these people could be given access to the much needed foods through Community Gardening. This week's episode of the Plant Passion Podcast goes over many benefits one gains when planting a community bed, be sure to check it out!    Instagram  |  FaceBook  |  Website  |  Twitter  |  YouTube
A few years ago, I happened to stumble upon a wonderful podcast called In Defense of Plants. I was introduced to a whole community of people that were driven by their plant passion, and I would listen to Dr. Matt Candeias talk each week with someone new. Now, some years later, I have gotten the chance to read Dr. Matt's new book titled "In Defense Of Plants: An Exploration into the Wonder of Plants," and I review in this week's episode!! This is the first episode in the Afternoon Tea section of The Plant Passion Podcast, so please feel free to let me know what you think. Long story short, this is the best book of 2021 and I think each and every person should read it!!!
