Reiki was not something that I had heard much about before my conversation with Rosemary. The ability to sense and heal people using energy and intuition was always slightly outside of my scope of belief / understanding. Through my conversation with Rosemary, however, I became thoroughly impressed by her. Both her commanding knowledge of many different subjects areas across psychology, neuroscience, and history, as well as her ability to see people for who they truly are. She spoke to me about people that she had met who had died for 7 minutes and were revived and how their stories affected her, the different colored auras she can something see radiating off of people, and her ability to understand people at the level of the soul. She is a torch of light. I greatly enjoyed my conversation with her.
Today I hosted Andreas Tempereau on the podcast. He currently attends Stanford, will be joining Anduril next year, and has been building a insane military helmet for the past few months. I sat down today to understand his outlook on the world, how he sees the current state of technology, and what motivates him to solve interesting problems... (spoiler! he just loves solving interesting problems).
I hope you enjoy today's conversation, I sure did.

Now, on to the program.
While I try to find what is practical and useful in philosophy, Dragan seems intent on destroying my entire conception of myself, how I perceive reality, and the systems we all operate in. In today's episode you will hear lines such as, "You are made a slave by language" & "We are castrating ourselves with each new instagram story post." Typical Philosophers!
I am happy to have had this conversation with someone just as far down the rabbit hole as I am. Cheers to making it out the other side.
THE MAX DEPTH PODCAST
What I privilege it was to connect with Dr. Ruwan M. Jayatunge M.D. PhD. We spoke about the nature of suffering, buddhism, happiness, Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, Nietzsche, and his work across the globe treating patients with PTSD. I promise you that if you listen to this conversation with an open mind and with good intentions, you will walk away a better person. I hope you enjoy today's episode of the Max Depth Podcast.
"Dark" philosophies engage deeply with the topic of suffering. That is the problem set we explore today.
Today we are joined by Nic Munoz. He is someone worth listening to for a few reasons: 1. He has studied countless "Great" individuals throughout history. He is a wealth of information. 2. He has built a successful online brand, standing out in the competitive education space. 3. He has a clear understanding of his strengths, and the mission he wants to dedicate his life to. We hope you enjoy the conversation. Who do you admire? I have always immersed myself in the ideas of those I have admired, through podcasts, audiobooks, & conversations. There is no way better way to do this, than to think, write, and finally produce a piece of content about the person. Fridtjof Nansen is truly worthy of study, for so many reasons. This channel is dedicated to philosophers, practical advice / wisdom, big ideas in history and current events. If you check out the channel name "MAX DEPTH" then you will begin to get a feel for what we do around here; We go DEEP into ideas, jumping down rabbit holes that most people step around. If this sounds like your type of place, we'd love to have you along for the ride. "Hello! I'm a student at Harvard pursuing a special degree across five fields - robotics, computer science, philosophy, mathematics, and organismic/evolutionary biology. These come together under my project by attempting to apply ways of thinking about nature to the way we think about robots." - Henry Cerbone
Henry is a deep thinker so it was a pleasure speaking with him about:
religion as an epistemic teddy bear,
the epic paper titled: Posits and Reality (https://cdn.preterhuman.net/texts/science_and_technology/Quine%20W.V.%20-%20Posits%20and%20Reality.pdf)
and if engineers and computer scientists are properly using nature to inform robotics.
Hope you enjoy. I work really hard on these so please consider subscribing. Thanks.
Adam Green is the director of the Lab for Relational Cognition and Provost's Distinguished Associate Professor at Georgetown University. Adam's academic interests lie in understanding how neural processes generate intelligence and creativity. Hope you enjoy our conversation! Stay Classy San Diego.

Dr. Pallav Kosuri received his Ph.D from Columbia, his PostDoc from Harvard, and completed his thesis at CERN. Now he works at the Salk Institute in La Jolla working in a field called DNA Origami. If you have never heard of it, you are in for a wild ride. Essentially, they are constructing nano-scale devices made from DNA to measure previously unseen molecular motion with an almost infinite array of applications.

This is what a conversation can sound like. People with different perspectives fiercely trying to get their point across while simultaneously listening to what the other person is saying. This is chaotic, but I think a few halfway decent points were made. I hope you enjoy

Cyber attacks have advanced rapidly along with the rest of technology. From flooding the SSA website with bots and crashing the system to the Solar Winds attack on the US Government by Russia, Cyber Attacks are now a huge problem for everyone. Clifton is a PHD student at Northeastern studying network security, recently studying the feasibility of implementing deep learning solutions to prevent attacks. The conversation can roughly divided into a first and second half. First, we discussed Clifton's work and the specifics of different cyber attacks. Second, we discussed the problems and possibilities of exploding technological innovation. Will we be able to build consciousness? Clifton doesn't want to find out. I kinda do.
