On this week’s Guest Friday, Garrett is joined once again by John Veneziano who stops by to talk all things USMNT ahead of the Copa América tournament later this month. They chat about the exhibition matches the U.S. played against Colombia and Brazil and what they noticed in each game. They also get into what the team needs to do to be successful at the tournament and which players need to have strong performances.
On this week's episode, Garrett starts with the Celtics and what he's been most impressed with in the first two games of the finals as the C's are up 2-0. He talks about why the Celtics defense has been the biggest key to their series lead and what they need to keep doing to finish off the Mavericks. He then gets to the Red Sox who struggled to get through a series split with the White Sox in Chicago and he also addresses recent comments made by owner John Henry. On this week’s episode, Garrett starts by previewing the Celtics matchup with the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals and what challenges Luka and Co. present for the C's. He also gives his predictions on who will win the series and who wins Finals MVP. He then talks Red Sox who continue to struggle to stay healthy and continue to struggle finding any consistent offense. He also talks about which players have been worth watching recently. He then gets to some Patriots thoughts from OTA's involving all of the quarterbacks.
