What started as a comparison of bullseye shooting and action shooting (practical shooting), quickly turned into a discussion about marksmanship in general. Not only do we talk about pistol, we talk about rifle as well. In addition to me, the guests are Matt Gundlach (formerly of the USMC Shooting Team), Zane Jones (Marine Reserve Major and winner of the 2025 McMillan Trophy), Keith Sanderson (Army and Marine Shooting Teams, as well as a 4x Olympian), and Brian Zins (USMC Pistol Team and 12x NRA National Champion). This is the last big discussion for the year as it pertains to USPSA participation by division. The numbers include Area 2. However, there are 4 matches not included that won’t grossly affect the percentages. I might put up an update on IG in December but that’s about it. I also discuss the participation for Area matches going back to 2014. Enjoy!!

For today, there is no guest. I was looking to do a post-IPSC/Area 5 monologue. The IPSC survey results were sent to me since they asked questions seeking feedback about the media.
