I believe it's the failing of the system and the workers behind it. Here's the raw and real moments of Foster parents. Nuggets of truth that aren't glorified. The heartache and downright insane things that we go through. The secondary trauma we experience when we put our entire life on the line to bring kids in our home to keep them safe and protected.

Let's start the discussion of the broken system we all kind of know about, but you don't truly know unless you're in it. Foster Care is hard work, it's misunderstood and not for the weak. I want to help those feelings and bring truth to what's going on.
This episode was hard for me to sit through and record because for the first time I got to hear Nevaeh's story. This story is what makes her who she is and I'm thankful she is making the best out of her situation. *this story is posted with permission of Nevaeh and after multiple discussions on if she wanted others to know her story.
