Send a text It was time for South Point's incredible $2 Million Dollar Extravaganza. This event lives up to its name in every way. The energy was huge, the bingo was nonstop and I got to celebrate my birthday early, surrounded by players dressed up in hilarious Halloween costumes. The celebration continued down in San Diego with a first-time visit to play bingo at the Sycuan Casino. It was the perfect spot to wrap up the weekend. Learn more about both stops in this episode.
Send a text Over the years, I've had the opportunity to chat with several other hardcore bingo players. In this week's episode my guest is someone very special to me, MamaGuam. She is one of the first bingo influencers I met when I started on TikTok. I've always admired her energy her positivity, and her genuine love for the game. She represents what this community is all about - connection, laughter, and a shared passion for bingo.

Send a text Running a successful bingo hall isn't just about calling numbers and handing out prizes. It's about creating an entire experience that keeps players coming back. Across the country, bingo halls must use a variety of strategies to stay alive and competitive. Everything from discounts for first-timers to promoting on publications like the Bingo Bugle. Long-lasting success doesn't come easy.
Send a text Years ago, one of the aspects of several episodes was the inclusion of some bingo lingo. With new people starting to play bingo everyday, this seems to be good time to revisit some of that language. From classic calls to local phrases, let's break down some of terms you'll hear when the numbers start rolling.
Send a text After being deeply engrossed in the bingo community for several years, something seem to be changing. In particular, the people that could be depended upon to be present, be it in bingo halls or on TikTok. Lately, there seems to a bit of an exodus for both. So that brings up the question, "is there such a thing as bingo burnout, or does something else account for these absences?"

Send a text One of the best things about bingo is the people you meet. Whether it's at your local bingo hall, a bingo tournament or from watching them on your favorite live streaming channel. Included in that mix is KingTupu. Proud to be a strong Pacific Islander representative, we get to learn more about his bingo journey in this episode.
Send a text Just like any community, there are a variety of personalities to content with within the bingo arena. Ultimately, we all need to get along, but this episode touches on some of the issues that can create a conflict among players.
Send a text Running a bingo hall is no small task. Week after week, while bingo players are praying they get to yell bingo, there's a manager making sure everything runs smoothly. At Bell-Jeff Bingo in Burbank, California that person is Ruben Alvara. In a few weeks he and his team will celebrate the location's anniversary. In the meantime, he was kind enough to chat about some of things it's taken to get to this milestone.
Send a text In addition to playing bingo on a regular basis, there are also special events occurring throughout the year. In July alone, there are some notable ones happening. Included among them is one at the Foxwoods Resort in Connecticut, as well as Winners in Stockton and South Point in Las Vegas. Checkout details about those and others in this episode.
Send a text One of the first places I played bingo when I moved to California, was the Morongo Hotel and Casino out at Cabazon. As much as I enjoyed it, I hadn't been there in awhile since there are so many other places closer to me where I can play. Nonetheless, It was nice to revisit it recently. And for better or worse, the lack of pulltabs definitely makes a difference.
Send a text Is it just me or has the cost of playing bingo on your average cruise ship (as opposed to Bingo Cruises), gotten out of control? Especially since the amount of actual games being played is minimal. That's one of things on my mind. The other is, where are all the bingo players I typically see going? Are they burning out?
Send a text Over the years, I've attended several bingo events. It quickly becomes clear that you have to go to them with the mindset that it's about the experience and not about winning. I'd gone to Southpoint's Extravaganza roughly six times before I finally won, splitting $25K. Which just goes to prove, if you hang in there, your day will come. That was the case for my third trip to Texas for the 2025 Bingo Palooza.
