Welcome Back to episode 58 of The Harvest Podcast!! Today we're diving into what happens when we hit a plateau in our healing. I just knew at a certain point I'd be done healing, but surely enough I was sadly mistaken.
Have you ever felt you've reached a point on your healing journey where you thought you were done? Rest assured WE ARE NEVER DONE HEALING!! I often remind myself that healing is not linear and it is my hope that you remind yourself and affirm this along your journey.
Be intentional about your healing and understand the process. Sit with the pain and ask yourself what's coming up for you. Remember that healing happens when you're triggered. So trust the process....it's trusting you.
Happy Harvesting!!
Welcome Back Harvesters!!
We're back with episode 57 and I'm diving into Understanding Your Ego and this has even been an eye opener for myself as well. I've gotten a better understanding of my own ego while on my healing and self-development journey, and it helps to know that having that inner dialogue makes a big difference in how I handle situations that may arise.
According to Sigmund Freud (the Id, Ego, Super Ego), the ego is the part of the mind that that mediates between the conscious and the unconscious and is responsible for reality testing and a sense of personal identity.
We go against ourselves on a daily and it makes it hard to really commit to a strong decision in what we want to do in our daily lives. I can speak for myself in that I've struggled with my own ego and stopped myself from making decisions that could have impacted my life differently.
Have you ever questioned any decisions you've made?
Let's explore that further when you tap into the episode!! It is my hope that you are able to receive whatever is useful for your own spiritual and self development journey through this episode. Continue to plant the seeds within your healing garden!
Happy Harvesting!!

Welcome back Harvesters!! Episode 56 dives into the trauma we still hold onto and where it manifests within our bodies. Holding onto our trauma can teach us to use it as a crutch and store in our bodies. It can teach us to armor up and harden our hearts but we know better than that. Get ready to tap into ways we can move through our trauma and no longer allow it to hold us captive. Happy Harvesting!
Welcome back Harvesters!
We're back with episode 55 and we're exploring who need to forgive. I previously discussed self-forgiveness in episode 5 and since then, my road to healing when it comes to forgiveness has helped me to understand my needs a lot more.
Forgiveness is the action or process of forgiveness or being forgiven. An intentional decision to let go of resentment and anger. So I ask, who do you need to forgive?
Always remember that forgiveness is a choice, and just because we made the decision to forgive someone doesn't mean that we have to continue a relationship with them.
QOTD: Are there still things I need to forgive myself for?
"You can't forgive without loving. And I don't mean sentimentally. I don't mean mush. I mean having enough courage to stand up and say 'I forgive. I'm finished with it' -Maya Angelou

Hello My Harvesters!!!
Welcome back to another episode of The Harvest Podcast! Episode 54 dives into us having a conversation with our shadow. That's right, we're sitting down and having a conversation with our shadow selves and shedding light on some areas in our lives to continue to cultivate self awareness.
What would you say to YOUR shadow? There are many things we can say to our shadow to try to understand the inner workings of our minds and feelings. But the real question is, are you ready to face the answers from those questions?
It is my hope that you are able to receive today's episode with the best of intentions and an open mind. Create the life you want to see by doing the work.

Journal Prompts:
What else can I do to see myself in a different light?
How often do you forgive yourself? Do you find yourself unforgiveable? Why?
Do you form obsessive/unhealthy attachments easily? Is this because you fear change/abandonment/rejection? Who/What left for you to feel this way?
Welcome Back Harvesters!!
We're back with episode 53 and we're discussing Shadow Work and Your Inner Child. We discussed Inner Child Healing in episode 13 and I recognized how important it was when I began to tap more into my own journey.
Shadow work and inner child healing allows us to heal the child that still lives inside of us. The part of us that still carries the wounds created by painful experiences, trauma, moments of disconnections. In this episode, I get into my own journey with shadow work and inner child healing, as well as discussing how to validate your inner child while doing the work.
Show yourself compassion during this time because you're doing the best you can do.
Happy Harvesting!!

Hey Harvesters!!
Welcome back to The Harvest Podcast as we get into starting our shadow work in today's episode. As I've mentioned before, shadow work is not just something you "fall into," but you're making a sound choice in changing the way you see yourself and others around you.
There are so many ways to start your shadow work journey, but the first question you should ask yourself is "am I ready to take this next step?" and if the answer is yes, then you are ready to change the way you see, think, and feel about what's been taking place within and around your life. Trust the process.
Shadow work ritual:
1.Set the scene
2.Ground yourself
3.Identify triggers
4.Journaling
5.Integration
6.Spiritual Shower
Shadow Work Journal Prompts:
1. What is the biggest lie I tell myself consistently?
2.When am I the hardest on myself and why? Where does this stem from?
3.What makes me feel most jealous?
4.What are my most toxic traits and how do I project them onto others?
Welcome Back Harvesters!!!!
Welcome to The Shadow Series!!! Thank you for continuing to plant seeds in your healing gardens. You're showing up for yourselves in more ways than you can imagine and I'm so proud of you for taking that next step.
Can you believe we're at episode 51?!??! I'm so excited to be back and exploring my own healing journey as you walk alongside me. Today I'll explore what to expect with The Shadow Series and how I got started on my shadow work journey. When did you start doing shadow work?
In this series, we're going to tap into what shadow work is, how I got started on my own shadow work, and how YOU can get started on your own shadow work journey. My goal with this series is to continue to shed awareness on mental health and to also provide you with tools that can assist on your own healing journey.
Happy Harvesting!!

Hey Harvesters!!
I know it's been a long time since you've heard by voice, unless you've been catching up on previous episodes, but I decided to drop this long awaited episode before we get into The Shadow Series of The Harvest Podcast.
In this episode I recap the top 10 most played episodes by rank and when I tell you I am so grateful for the plays of all of my episodes, please believe me when I tell you gratitude falls from my heart and lips.
Sit back and enjoy this short recap and also think bout where you were and what space you were in when these episodes dropped. Honor what comes up for and take the time to sit with those emotions and feelings.
Happy Harvesting!
Can you believe we‘re at the end of The Ascension Series? As we close out this series we understand our communication a little better so that we can continue to form more authentic relationships.
I became more aware of my communication the deeper I got on my healing journey. Emotional maturity and intelligence was something I had to relearn and I can honestly say that this has allowed me to have such a better relationship with myself.
Toxic communication was something I was draped out and dripped in and let me tell you something, this caused a lot of my relationships to suffer. Even the one with myself.
Build trust with yourself and be honest about how you feel. Be respectful in your tone and recognize when you’re being triggered so you’re not being reactive. Honor YOU!
Happy Harvesting!
Hey Harvesters!!
We’re back with another episode and today we’re talking about reparenting ourselves.
Reparenting ourselves really taps into inner child healing and some ego death. Our inner child wants to do nothing more than protect us when we‘re in survival mode, from things that have happened in our childhood, and even presently.
I’ve been very open about the relationship with my mother and when I started doing the work how things shifted within our relationship. I‘ve been on an ongoing journey of reparenting myself and with each cycle I move through, I’m able to recognize areas that continue to need healing. And that was my wounded inner child. But I’ve learned along the way how to reparent myself.
HOW DO I REPARENT MYSELF?
I started caring for myself. I know who EYE am and how to honor myself. Self awareness has been one of the main things that’s helped me through my journey of self development and it’s helped me to improve my relationships, especially the one I have with myself.
I started making authentic decisions for myself. Operating in a place of codependence really helped me to understand the types of relationships I gravitated towards and the one the I had with myself. I now know that if it doesn’t feel right, I’m not doing it!
I started being a little more selfish. I wasn’t rude, but I started enforcing boundaries that should’ve been set a long time ago. I started proving to myself that I’m first.
With reparenting, accept how you feel and validate yourself. Celebrate when you show up for yourself and your inner child. Always ask yourself “What do I need in this moment?”
Happy Harvesting!
Episode 47 brings in the heat as we discuss how we gaslight ourselves. Have you ever suppressed your thoughts or emotions? Believed you were making to big of a deal out of something? Invalidated your emotions? Dismissed or minimized your experience? Well baby, you've gaslit yourself!
I've done it so many times without realizing this was what I was doing. Telling myself my traumatic experiences weren't that bad, when in all actuality.......THEY WERE!!!!! If you were a victim of a narcissistic partner or parent then chances are you're going to gaslight yourself or you've already been doing it and not totally aware of it. But this can change!!!
Noticing when you're triggering yourself and allow yourself to feel that emotion that comes up. What part of you is asking for love and healing? Pay attention to that. Don't gaslight yourself. If you were invalidated or dismissed during your childhood then you were being taught to second guess yourself and deny your reality. Stop denying and minimizing your truth and start listening to yourself!! HAPPY HARVESTING!!
QOTD: Gaslighting of the soul. They do everything to dim your light, then ask you why you're not shining
Hey Harvesters! We're back again this week with another double header of episodes!! Thank for continuing to show up for yourself and allowing yourself to heal and plant seeds in your healing garden. Trust that the work you're doing is not in vain.
Episode 46 brings us to the topic of handling intrusive thoughts. We all deal with them, whether we choose to acknowledge them or not but the important thing we'll learn in today's episode is how to manage them. These unwanted thoughts creep up from time to time and I would beat myself up when they did and would also shame myself for thinking them. The important thing to understand about intrusive thoughts is that it's totally natural for us to have them, it's all in your intent behind these thoughts.
Everyone has intrusive thoughts. They come from a place where you wouldn't think of doing what you're actually thinking. It's totally natural to have a fearful reaction to them so don't think that you're reaction to them is wrong. Fighting makes them worse and takes away your power.
HOW TO HANDLE THEM:
-Know that thoughts are not facts
-There's a difference between thought and intent
-Develop distress tolerant skills that can help with managing them
The trick to intrusive thoughts is not to resist them, but to let them happen and don't fixate on them. Greet them with the same relaxed acceptance over and over until your sensitized reaction lessens. Remove the fear of it, and allow it to fall away on it's it own. I do hope you were able to take something valuable from today's episode. Trust yourself! HAPPY HARVESTING!!!
WAIT, TWO EPISODES IN ONE DAY?! That's right my harvesters!!! I have another episode for you to continue to plant seeds in your healing garden and I couldn't be more excited to for this episode since we'll be talking about validating ourselves.
Episode 45....whew! Validation has been something that I've struggled with even before my awakening and as I dug deeper into recognizing my self worth, I realized how important it is for ME to validate my own feelings and I can't rely on someone else to do that for me. From childhood I sought out validation in so many other things but myself and since I began my own self development, I've recognized how easy it is to give away my power. Which is something that I've fought so hard to take back time and time again.
How Can I Validate Myself?
Notice where the invalidation is coming from, stop. Breathe. Journal where things are coming from and why you might be triggered.
Acknowledge your pain with love and compassion. Please show yourself some grace! (TALK WITH YOUR INNER CHILD)
VALIDATE YOURSELF!
When it comes to validating yourself, be interested in yourself and discover what you're feeling when it shows up in your body. Support yourself and your feelings, they're yours and you're entitled to have them. Every time you get triggered, a trauma is being uncovered. Give your inner child the chance to feel anything without judgment. I hope you enjoy today's episode and choose you ALWAYS.....IN ALL WAYS!!! HAPPY HARVESTING!
WOD-Validation: recognition or affirmation that a person or their feelings or opinions are valid or worthwhile.
QOTD- "If you put your validation in the hands of others, you will be obligated to go back to them every time you need it."
Hey Harvesters!!
We're back for another episode of The Harvest Podcast..............episode 44! As we're winding down The Ascension Series there's been a few changes with the podcast. I'm going to do two episodes each Sunday up to episode 50 and we'll close out this chapter of the podcast until we return with The Shadow Series!!! I took another break because life got kind of cute on me so I had to learn how to balance. Between my ascension, detox and getting dental work done, ya girl truly has been all over the place. In a good way though!
Today's episode we're going to get into over thinking and let's just say that I've had a very close relationship with overthinking. As I'm sure when listening to this episode you'll recognize that you, too, overthink from time to time. Overthinking caused me to really talk myself out of opportunities that were for my highest good or made me create scenarios that didn't even exist. In today's episode, I break down what overthinking is and even acknowledge my own toxic traits that contributed to a lot of my overthinking.
How Do I Work Through My Overthinking?
Trusting more
I ask for help
I do brain dumps when I feel overwhelmed
I get out in nature to clear my mind
MIND MY BLACK ASS BUSINESS!!!
Overthinking-the art of creating problems that don't exist
AOD-I give myself permission to let go of things I can't control
Changing your overthinking that took years to create isn't going to happen over night. Don't stop working on it because YOU have the power to change the trajectory of your life. I hope you enjoy today's episode!! HAPPY HARVESTING!
Hey Harvesters!!! Today we're back with a special episode, one of the last interviews of The Ascension Series and I'm so excited to share this with you all.
On today's episode we discuss ways to cope with my good friend, business owner, and confidant, Ta'Wane Watkins (Jaxcyn Therapy Group). From Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to Psychoanalysis, he is able to navigate and strategize with us in showing us that there are ways to cope, we just have to be open and willing.
I do hope that you enjoy today's episode as I did recording it. Get ready to laugh and learn as we tap into ways we can better cope with the cards that life hands us daily. Happy Harvesting!!

Hey Harvesters!!
We're back this with with episode 42 and we're getting closer to wrapping up The Ascension Series!!! Wow can you believe it!? I'm still in amazement with how much this platform has grown and I have so many of you to thank. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!
This week's episode we'll be getting into understanding anxiety, as well as what you shouldn't say to someone who struggles with anxiety. Having been diagnosed with Unspecified Anxiety Disorder has allowed me to really recognize my strengths and weaknesses and it's also given me answers to a lot of questions. I know I'm not alone on this journey so I felt like this topic was one that needed to be discussed.
We'll discuss our triggers and ways to cope with anxiety because for those of us that experience this daily, we all know how much finding ways to cope can either be the highest of highs or the LOWEST of lows!!
The important thing to remember is that we have the resources and tools in place to help us and if we surround ourselves with the right people, that's what will make this journey worth fighting! I hope you enjoy today's episode, and don't forget you can become a subscriber so like, follow, and share today's episode and all episodes!! Let's plant some seeds in our healing garden!!
AFFIRMATION OF THE DAY: I am excited about what could go right, more than I am afraid about what could go wrong.

Happy Harvesting!!
Hey Harvesters!!
Happy October and welcome back to another episode of The Harvest Podcast. First and foremost I want to apologize for the feedback that took place during the episode. The sound didn't want us to be great smh.
We are on episode 41 and we're getting into how we can be our best selves. What better way to start this new month right?! Today's episode is special because we have another special guest, Shakira Victoria (Holistic Physical Trainer and Vegan Health Coach) and we share our journeys with self image and how we started our own individual spiritual journey that brought us to this point in our lives. From repeating cycles to recognizing our power, I share this intimate conversation with you and I hope that you are able to receive the message intended.
Shakira began her journey in 2018 as she transitioned from New York. During this transition, she struggled with depression and self image and felt that she hit rock bottom which prompted her to channel her energy in the gym to escape depression and to find more balance in her life. From here, this became her mission to feeling good inside, getting things back on track, becoming independent, and becoming her own motivation and support system. Shakira then became a physical trainer motivator, and healer to the community of women.
Becoming your best self isn't just a fad. This a fully dedicated journey of self development and healing and understanding who you are takes a lot of work. Become your best self for you...not for anyone else. The key here is reflection, introspection, and self awareness. This later brings on emotional awareness and maturity. I truly hope you enjoy today's episode and you begin to see how you too, can be your best self.
Happy Harvesting!!!

Hey Harvesters!!
Another week, another episode!! This week we're getting in to what to do when someone doesn't respect our boundaries. We discussed setting boundaries and why they're important in a previous episode, so today we'll get in to how we can help others respect our boundaries.......we even need to learn how to respect our own!!!
Why is it that the people in our lives don't respect our boundaries?
We don't take ourselves seriously
We don't hold people accountable
We apologize for setting boundaries
We allow too much flexibility
We speak on uncertain terms
But we can stand up for ourselves.....it's just a matter of us believing within ourselves that we can do it. BECAUSE WE CAN!!!! I hope you enjoy today's episode, and don't forget you can become a subscriber so like, follow, and share today's episode and all episodes!! Let's plant some seeds in our healing garden!!

Hey Harvesters!!!
We’re back with another episode as we explore self love and what that journey means to us!! My own self love journey has changed so much and I'm still exploring and understanding what it means and looks like for me. It changes daily, and that's ok, because it allows me to understand the changes within and around me. I'm learning how to properly love myself so that I can have healthy loving relationships with myself and with whom I plan to build with. Whatever that relationship looks like for me.
This is such a special episode because I’ll be having an intimate conversation with my spiritual sister Dr. Chastity Lasley!!
Chastity Lasley (aka Dr. Chas) has worked with women in healing trauma. She realized in her personal journey that the trauma she experienced as a teen and young woman inspired her to seek healing from anxiety and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). She is a certified Kemetic Teacher and Trauma Informed Yoga Instructor for Teens.
Dr. Chas has been initiated into Kemetic Reiki Level 1, Sacred Woman Rites of Passage, and her current developing work as a Tantrika where she was initiated as a Tantra Goddess claiming her sexual sovereignty and clearing her own past trauma. She has spent the last five (5) years cultivating her feminine energy through tantra yoga, tantra dance, meditation, and breathwork as tools for sacred medicine through her own healing practices.
Follow her on Instagram @IamDrChas.
I hope you enjoy today's episode and don't forget to leave me a voice message if you do!!
