You cannot grasp the true form of Giygas' attack!After awakening from his coma / spirit quest to the realm of Magicant, Ness and his friends return to Saturn Valley where Dr. Andonuts and Apple Kid (with the help of the Mr. Saturns) make the final preparations on the Phase Distorter in order to track down Giygas! They soon discover that Giygas is attacking from the distant past and the only way to defeat him is to transfer the spirits of the four chosen children into adorable robots that they can then send back in time to the Cave of the Past where they battle against the nightmarish entity (and Pokey) for the fate of the universe! Will Paula's prayers be enough to save us from this existential dread? Our heroes fight through a horde of zombies and ghosts beneath a graveyard, discover the strange inhabitants of Saturn Valley (the Mr. Saturns), stand behind a waterfall for three minutes, defeat Master Belch with a jar of 'Fly Honey', drink some psychedelic coffee, backtrack to buy a cheap shack by the sea, get stuck in traffic on the way to Fourside, and get heat stroke while wandering around Dusty Dunes Desert!

While Ness and Paula are busy being kidnapped by zombies in Threed, we're introduced to our third party member: a nerd named Jeff - in the snowy country of Winters! Jeff embarks on a quest through the wilderness after receiving a telepathic message from Paula - he escapes from his boarding school, makes friends with a monkey, hitches a ride on a dinosaur, discovers Stonehenge, and reunites with his long-lost father, Dr. Andonuts!

After erasing a pencil-shaped-statue, Ness fights his way through Peaceful Rest Valley, swarming with an onslaught of robots, UFO's, and walking trees, on his way to save Paula from a creepy cult leader in "Happy Happy Village". From there, Ness and Paula use their psychic powers to fight off some bears and moles to reach the Second Sanctuary Sound, before heading back to Twoson, and paying off some debt for a blues band called the Runaway Five, who then give them a ride to the (haunted) town of Threed - which appears to be undergoing a zombie infestation...

We then fight the entire Onett police force, before heading to Twoson where we ride our bike, trip on some mushrooms, and find out that a young girl named Paula has been kidnapped by a cult?!

In our very first (gameplay) episode of "EarthBound" (1994, SNES) - we name our characters (Ness, Paula, Jeff, and... Poo?!), change out of our pj's, investigate a meteor crash, beat up some runaway dogs with a baseball bat, make friends with an alien bee, learn about an ancient prophecy from 10 years in the future, explore a creepy dude's basement, have a run-in with a 5th dimensional photographer, eat a bunch of cookies and a burger that we found in a trash can, randomly gain psychic powers, wage a one-man war against crime, fight our way through an arcade, beat-up Frank the Tank, call our mom, and get a key from the Mayor of Onett!

Erik and Frost team-up to announce our next game for Season 8 of the Super Switch Club: 1994's "EarthBound" for the Super Nintendo - along with a breakdown of rules on how to be a part of this season!
Directions:
10 minutes max! - we're going to be enforcing the limit a lot harder
Don’t narrate everything, be selective about what you talk about - focus on things you loved or hated.
Leave pauses between subjects in your audio (these will not count against the time limit)
Note: For the manual episode specifically - Don’t read the whole thing, there will be a secret narrator. Just call out things you care about in the first 14 pages.
Suggestions:
Take notes beforehand
Edit your submission down (leave bloopers at the end of the sub)
Be proactive and submit before the deadline
Don’t describe every battle - please
Note: The Manual Episode is also a good time to talk about your nostalgia for the game and any behind-the-scenes trivia.
