Yes they are still alive and kicking, the maroon men are back. In a random assortment of discussion topics the guys dish on whats been going on and how they think it could affect CFB in the future. Also Steve is ticked off with the Walking Dead and shares his experience of getting sick (not with the rona). Warning: Even more unasked for opinions and advice than usual.  

Our big bowls are rolling! The ACC has had its ups and downs in the first half of bowl season. How will they fare as the competition steps up? Can any of the dogs make statements in the post-season? Its the most wonderful time of the year, BOWL SEASON! The guys break down the first 5 ACC bowls of the season in Pt.1 of their two part bowl preview. Miami, Pitt, Wake, UNC, and Clemson are the first 5 out of the gate. Who will bring eternal glory and who will shame the ACC? Well OF COURSE we're gonna preview the ACC match up between Clemson and Virginia, but there is so much more to talk about in the ACC right now, so we asked and answered some BIG ACC QUESTIONS as well! Does/Should Tavien Feaster, Kelly Bryant, Trevon Hill, Eric Kumah, Josh Jackson, Tate Martell, Bailey Hockman, and Alex Hornibrook regret their transfer decisions? Did Dino Babers ruin himself by staying at Syracuse? Does Manny Diaz regret leaving Temple for Miami? Is UVA here to stay or just another team in the Coastal wheel of destiny? Who is next in the wheel? Who finishes 2nd in the Atlantic division in 2020 and who is more likely to challenge Clemson's rule first, Florida State or Louisville? Who should BC hire as their head coach? Who should FSU hire? Who should Virginia Tech hire for their DC position, and will recruiting improve or is this the new norm for the Hokies? Rivalries are crazy and so were the outcomes this week! Congratulations to UVA who won the coastal and broke a 15 year streak against rival Virginia Tech. Louisville disappointed Steve x1000, Wake Forest and Pitt choked down the stretch, and the SEC mostly got the better of their rivals. The season winner of the picks against the spread is revealed and do dogs go to heaven when they die!? The maroon men discuss all this and more in a casual all over the place (like the ACC) format!

ITS ON! The rivalries are here ready or not! The guys walk through each game progressing from what they feel are the least to the most interesting of games. Can the ACC win the majority of their SEC rival match-ups? Can North Carolina and Boston College make bowl eligibility with wins over NC State and Pitt? Can Wake and Louisville continue to raise their perceived ceilings? Plus Steve impersonates a UVA fan (tastefully) and starts calling Cody and Jim toothless hillbillies while discussing the CONTEST FOR THE COASTAL. Also Louisville...BEAT Kentucky!!

The Coastal "Semi-final" has been decided but we still have to talk about it, and all the "drama" associated with this game. What's with all the hate surrounding Pitt-VT and is it justified? Who's to blame? A few teams were knocked out of bowl contention (Syracuse, NC State, Duke), and a couple others got nice confidence boosts against lesser competition (Virginia, North Carolina). And then there is Miami...who got its clock cleaned against lesser competition. Shout outs to Nick Sciba and Sam Howell for record setting weekends/seasons, and of course we've got gold stars and fails of the week to award!

They can't even look you in the eye because of the shame, The Maroon Men will be a day behind on their Week 13 Review episode due to...circumstances. They still couldn't stop Steve from taking to the microphone to voice some real brief opinions on week 13 though. Thank you for listening!

Its streak week! Several win streaks are on the line in week 12 in the ACC, which will continue to grow and which will come to an end? Can Virginia Tech punch its way to bowl eligibility against a struggling Georgia Tech in the Techmo bowl? Can North Carolina beat Pittsburgh AGAIN!? Can Louisville do what most would have seen as impossible in the preseason and make a bowl with a win over a struggling NC State? We will give you the guaranteed answer to all these questions. PLUS! Is it possible the ACC has a lot of Average/Good teams that beat each other while the Big 10 and SEC have a bunch of horrible teams that their better half gets to beat up on?? Lets talk!

Congratulations to Clemson who is guaranteed the Atlantic Division title for the 5th straight season. This is due in part to Virginia Tech's defeat of the Demon Deacons. Florida State virtually guaranteed themselves bowl eligibility with its win over Boston College. Virginia survived Georgia Tech and the beat goes on. Plus Jim shares some first person insights of the game honoring Bud Foster's career. Let's chat!

Week 11 is coming, lets talk about it! FSU's bowl hopes basically boil down to this matchup against Boston College. VT wants a bounce back against a ranked Wake Forest aaand most the other games of the weekend probably wont be that close. Or will they!?

What do Willie Taggart and "Gone Girl" have in common? Yeah, you get it. The maroon men discuss all the games in week 10 and dive into what the firing of Willie Taggart means. Will Syracuse win an ACC game this year? Will FSU make a bowl? What does the ND game actually mean for Virginia Tech and is UVA really the best of the Coastal? On the 125th episode of the Maroon Men's podcast they preview week 10!! (who would have guessed right?) They preview and predict all the match-ups on deck, cover some breaking recruiting news, argue about the BIG and how good Neutered Dame really is, plus they examine how everyone in the Coastal appears to have no offense and really good defense. Much like your compost pile (if you're into that sort of thing) the coastal has been completely flipped (and it stinks)! The Maroon Men do what they do best and discuss all the happenings of the ACC in week 9. FSU looked good against a collapsing Syracuse. Clemson looked good as they have against EVERYONE (except UNC). Duke made horrible life choices, and Pitt and UVA would rather NOT win the coastal. Dive on in to this organic dirty mess!

What more could you conceivably ask for? Be warned UNC fans, there is a decent amount of Hokie gushing going on this episode because Steve is a man of his word!
