It’s been a HOT minute but we’re back with some new episodes coming to you with some new and old faces to the podcast - so stay tuned for more! In this week’s episode, we have Siobhan returning to the podcast! Siobhan Pitz is from North Bay, Ontario. She is a graduate of the University of Guelph. She’s passionate about travelling and experiencing new things by going on adventures and seeing the world from a different perspective. We met each other while working at the Columbia Icefield three years ago in 2019.

She is a graduate of the Early Childhood Education and Bachelor of Early Learning Program Development at Conestoga College. Currently, Heather is working with the YMCA of Three Rivers as a Childcare Teacher. She has loved the dramatic arts ever since she was a child and, throughout her life, has been involved in several performances, productions, and community theatre. Brooke goes to the University of Guelph and resides in Guelph but is originally from the United Kingdom. She is passionate about travelling, learning new things and also being creative when challenged. Recently, Brooke was a part of the creative development and behind-the-scenes team on Retro Runaway through the University of Guelph showcasing ethical and sustainable fashion. Stacey is a recent graduate of Niagara College with President’s Honour Roll in Tourism Management - Business Development. She also has a background in the business sector working in Toronto for a number of years as well. Stacey is currently working down in the Niagara Region working with tour guides and different destinations acting as a coordinator at the tour company she is working for. She is passionate about travelling, seeing new ideas within the hospitality & tourism industry come to life and experiencing the local lifestyle when going to new places. She’s also an advocate for mental health and staying motivated in her day-to-day life, as well as helping others. Erin travelled out to the Columbia Icefield in 2019 where she and Easton met and have been friends ever since. Amy Read is from Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. She is passionate about travelling, learning about different cultures wherever she goes and meeting new people along the way. Amy has been to multiple states in the United States spanning from Colorado, Tennesse, Florida, Georgia, Washington and many more. She’d like to travel to Europe in the near future as well. Unfortunately, she had to end her two-year working holiday visa in Canada short due to COVID-19 and travel back to New Zealand. She and I share a passion for wine, travel and having a laugh every once in a while. We originally met at the Columbia Icefield and haven’t stopped talking since. Natasha Gray is from Edinburgh, Scotland. She has travelled to so many different places around the world spanning from North America, Europe, Asia, New Zealand and many more. She’s an avid traveller and looks for new places to go with friends. Natasha and I met in Alberta in 2019 when we were both working at the Columbia Icefield. This was her second year living & working there. She has fallen in love with the Canadian Rockies like everyone seems to do and is coming back to Canada. She’s passionate about travelling and is very much a people person. Zarya is also a fashion icon and an expert with her outfits and what she wears on a daily basis. On the side and as a hobby, Emily has also participated in multiple community theatre productions, creating the costumes and working backstage to create memorable shows for her community. She’s passionate about science, her love for musical theatre and is an amazing local florist within the K-W region. We’ve both worked together as well, putting on a range of different hats and having a good laugh over old times. We had some really interesting discussions on how her students have all adapted to learning online vs in the classroom during the pandemic.
