I've literally been procrastinating posting this epiosde but here it is, and I really hope you all enjoy listening to it. In this episode, i spoke about how some people think quiet people are pretenders especially when they react to certain things which I don't agree. This also brought about the title of the episode. Also, I shared my opinion about the woman who wants to sue Chris Brown because he sexually assaulted her. Lastly, I spoke about a story that was shared on instagram. I will love to see your opinions on this episode. Send a DM or a voice message by clicking on the link in the bio. You will see 'SEND THS 2515 A VOICE MEDSAGE'. I will definitely reply you. Love y'all.
In this episode, I spoke about a tweet that shows how some men say a lot nonsense and will expect you to get over it. How men will literally try to gaslight you with words. Such stupid manipulation (if I'm using the words incorrectly, please let me know). The second issue I spoke about is about something I experienced around last week and how it made to know that my comfortability is all that matters and anything or anyone that's trying to ruin it, needs to be out of my life. The audacity and entitlement some men have is what the last issue some men have. I spoke about my experience last week with a guy and it got me irritated. To know what went down, listen to the episode till the end. This is basically a summary of the episode. Listen to the episode to know more about the other things i spoke about. It took a while for me to figure out where the audio was. I guess have lost my touch, but the good news is that I'm back. I don’t know for how long, but in the meanwhile enjoy this episode. There’s definitely a lot of things to unpack there. My phone's battery is on 7% and I'm trying to type as fast as I can so that I can post this episode but the phone dies. Right now, i can remember all of the things I spoke in the episode, but the topic is definetly one of it. I can’t find the book where I wrote all that I spoke about in the episode, but please listen to it from the beginning to the end. It's definitely worth the listen and I'm not saying this because I'm the host. I know the quality of the episode. Don’t forget to send a voice message or a DM sharing your thoughts about the episode. Love y'all and have a blessed day.
Guys, this is a must listen episode (I don't know if the sentence is correct). Once more, I had fun recording this episode and you will definitely get lit. In this episode i spoke about two episodes of an MTV show Ghosted: Love gone missing. Those episodes are a must watch and you need to watch it. It should be on YouTube i guess. I'm not sure. I also spoke about alpha males, broke shaming and how I've let people's opinions decide the type of pictures I post on instagram.
This episode is about a dick picture that was sent to the DMs of a popular person on Twitter. Tbh, Twitter is one of the best place to get ideas for an episode. The situation around this topic made a lot of men to write thesis and they said a lot of stuff and I disagree on. I decided to speak on this topic because this has happened to me and it's not a matter to joke with. So, in this episode i spoke about men sending unsolicited dick pictures and my opinions about it. I really hope you all enjoy listen to it like I enjoyed recording it. I had so much fun recording it.
Even though the episode is long, it's definitely worth the listen. This episode really means so much to me because I spoke my heart out and I didn’t back down and I hope you guys feel it as you listen. I haven't been posting new episodes for 3 weeks or more (I don't know if the statement is correct) and that's because I've been at NYSC Camp. So in this week's episode I spoke about some of my experiences in camp. As you know, I always have a story for you all and this episode is no exception. I also shared my views about a reality show I'm watching on netflix and I really hope you guys can watch it whenever you're free and share your thoughts with me.
In this episode I spoke about people having insecurities with their face and body. A lot of people have insecurities and i just want to let you all know there's nothing wrong with it and it's absolutely normal. I also gave tips on what you can do to deal with your insecurities.
It was really so much fun recording this episode with my girl @demiladenika. In this episode, we spoke about the single life and how it's been like being single. This would have been posted like an hour ago, but it took a lot of time to upload the episode, but i really hope you guys love it. Click on the link in the bio to listen to the wonderful episode.
This is a topic that has been widely discussed amongst a lot of people on social media and in real life. It has also caused conflict between the male and the female. Girl code has been spoken about a lot of times on social media and between girlfriends. There are a lot of girls that follow it and some don't. So you definitely need to listen to it.
Stan culture is something that has been described with many words, some of which you will be hearing in this episode. Gloriia has seen tweets of people saying that they would love to read an article about stan culture, but right now you don't have to read about it, but you can listen to Gloriia speak extensively about it. Stan culture is something that is very popular on Twitter and Gloriia didn't find it difficult to speak on it. From what she has seen on Twitter, Gloriia was able to speak on this topic in a way that people will understand how stans work. Stans work in a very amusing, confusing, dedicated and passionate way and their work was broken down in this episode. The questions right now is are you a stan? Do you have a stan account? Are you part of stan twitter? Have you been attacked by stans on social media? We will definetly love to see your comments, don't be shy. A lot of references were made to music stans in this episode due to how Gloriia knows about how music stans are like on Twitter. If you've been listening to this podcast, you will know that Gloriia has stories or a story to share and this episode isn't any different. Want to know what the story or stories are? You need to listen to the episode from the beginning to the end and please don't skip any part. It's definitely worth the listen. No cap.
There are a lot of things Gloriia had to talk about or probably you could say rant about. As someone who doesn't like when people don't mind their business, Gloriia had a lot to say. There are some men who have a lot of things to comment about women, what they do and what they were and Gloriia made sure to let them know that minding their business is very important. If you listened to last week's episode, you will know that Gloriia had some stories to share and this episode isn't any different. We hope by the title, you're intrigued to it and you will listen to it to the end.
There are a lot of stereotypes about quiet people and we spoke about it with so much passion. Most times, quiet people are made to feel that it's wrong to be quiet and you need to change who you are, but being who you are and true to yourself is all that matters.
There are various things that happen in a relationship or even before a relationship starts. There are a lot of friendship codes that could be broken because of a relationship. In this episode, Gloriia discusses five topics in relationships and we really hope you enjoy listen to it.
Listen to this episode for a surprise!! Possessiveness is something a lot of people admire and would like to have in their relationship. In this episode, wr discussed about how see Possessiveness mostly in a bad way but we can't deny that there's an extent to which it is okay. We spoke about our thoughts on the topic and how it can actually destroy the relationship if the person can't handle it. We had a lot of fun recording it and we hope you guys will enjoy listening to it. We would love to see your thoughts about this episode. You can send us a DM or send us a voice message by clicking on the link in the bio.
No man is an island and everyone needs a friend no matter the number. Having friends isn't about the number, but the quality of friends. Some of you would have heard about quality of friends are better than the quantity of friends and in this episode, Gloriia explained extensively about it.
Feminism is a very important and serious topic and Gloriia had few things to say about the topic. Some people have the wrong ideology about the topic and Gloriia explained what Feminism is all about. FEMINISM IS THE ADVOCACY FOR WOMEN'S RIGHT IN THE SOCIAL, ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL ARENA. IT S THE BELIEF IN THE EQUALITY OF BOTH GENDERS. There are a lot of women out there who haven't gotten the recognition they need because of some excuses that shouldn't be said, but there will be a day where the recognition is gotten and when the efforts will be seen as remarkable. As women, it's tiring for us to keep us fighting for something that will be given to a man without hesitation? WHAT MAKES A MAN BETTER THAN A WOMAN? WHAT MAKES YOU THINK A WOMAN CAN'T DO WAHT A MAN CAN DO?. We demand CHANGE and it can only happen if mindsets are changed and the people who believe women can't do it, see that women can do it from a different perspective.
Skinny shaming is a topic that hasn't gotten the awareness it needs. A lot of people believe skinny shaming isn't bad, but it's very bad. In this week's episode Gloriia and Demi @demiladenika discussed about their opinions on the topic.
The Nigerian music is different from the music industry outside Nigeria and Gloriia had questions about that. Also, Gloriia had questions about why some things are done in a particular way and why some particular methods aren't incorporated. She has questions; but she needed someone to have a discussion with about the topic. In this episode, Gloriia discusses about this topic with a singer and songwriter @venosreality (his instagram). Just like Gloriia, you may be sure of your answers to the questions, but after listening to this episode, your mindset may change. You understand why the Nigerian music industry is the way it is and hope for an improvement.
In this episode, Gloriia spoke about handling rejection, what people shouldn't do when they've been rejected. Also, she spoke about how she will feel if someone sends a DM to her on social media and people sending their nudes to strangers on social media.
