The Mikaelsons return to New Orleans for what should never have been a quick spell, but things do not go as planned, because Will Kinney is evil now! Hayley and Marcel head to the bayou to investigate a wolf who is involved for some reason? Klaus, Elijah, and Vincent find their way into the woods for a mysterious ritual that looks pretty focused on killing kids. While trying to stop the ritual, Klaus and Marcel get trapped in creepy blue Hollow land, where they try their best to avoid looking at the blue light (per Hope’s instructions), but it proves tempting. Which leaves Hope thinking the Hollow may be here…Remember to rate, review, and share, brothers!Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @doppelgangerspodcast!
The family is reunited and away from New Orleans, so now comes the scary part for Klaus: actually being a father! Luckily she likes to paint and walk through the woods, while Elijah and Hayley flirt and Kol and Rebekah plan their future as non series regulars. We learn more about the evil orb and Vincent’s life before all these people fucked with him, and see this new entity in new and familiar forms. Despite Marcel’s hard work, the Mikaelsons simply cannot avoid New Orleans, even though they may HOPE to be free. And finally, the Freelin agenda continues to grow!Remember to rate, review, and share, brothers!Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @doppelgangerspodcast!
With all the Mikaelsons up from their 5 year nap, they get right to their number one priority: rescuing Klaus! Luckily, Klaus is safe and sound right where he wants to be (doing therapy with Cami in his subconscious). Marcel is in deep denial about being a Mikaelson, so much so that he allows himself to get stalled by Rebekah of all people, even as he attempts to flirt with Sofya, his committed employee. Josh joins the fray, with him and his boyfriend being used as (ultimately useless) leverage. Across town, Vincent confronts a mystical and mysterious blue orb …Remember to rate, review, and share, brothers!Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @doppelgangerspodcast!
It’s a new season with a time jump confirmed! After keeping the Mikaelsons down for 5 years, it’s time to get them up and at ‘em! Hayley has been hard at work but needs the help of a new slay werewolf for the final step. And there’s a new ship alert! Meanwhile, Marcel deals with an influx of vampire tourism and, despite his insistence he hates Klaus, he still wants his advice. But even without the Mikaelsons New Orleans still has danger, including a creepy new symbol that seems to particularly like messing with kids, including our favorite now 7 year old. And finally, Josh is a DJ now!Remember to rate, review, and share, brothers!Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @doppelgangerspodcast!
Season 3 comes to a close, with a prophecy fulfilled and a new king on the New Orleans throne. Is a time jump imminent? How can the Miakelsons get out of this one? After the recent deaths it’s time not only for multiple funerals, but also to check in on the prophecy that is the Mikaelsons hope has been stopped. Of course, that is not how prophecies work. Meanwhile, Klaus attempts to mend the relationship with Marcel, which goes quite well until someone buts in. Vincent and Kol spend the day in the ancestral plane to take care of the problem that is the New Orleans ancestors. After a deadly confrontation, alliances and power shifts, but one couple finally comes together...Remember to rate, review, and share, brothers!Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @doppelgangerspodcast!
This week, we catch up with Kol after he (reminder) killed Davina last week! Luckily, she is a witch in New Orleans, so she should be easy enough to bring back. Well, she would be … but she’s made enemies of the ancestors and Freya needs ancestor magic to kill Lucien, who cements himself as a major threat by locating Rebekah’s body. Lucien has his Black Swan moment, wishy-washy-ness catches up to Van, and Kara finally gets revenge on Davina using what seems to be a Beats Pill speaker. Lastly, Marcel is offered a very tempting advantage by an angry Vincent. Remember to rate, review, and share, brothers!Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @doppelgangerspodcast!
Yes Cami has been bitten, but hey there’s always a loophole so this should be light work! The whole team disperse to get answers, Davina to Rousseau’s where Lucien is partying, Vincent and Marcel to Cami’s apartment to collect a potential cure, and Hayley and Elijah to the bayou to fetch the magical baby. Freya works with her herbs to help Cami while Klaus gives er a lovely dream day, not loving the omen there! After Kol failed to leave town he decides to take drastic measures, but fails spectacularly. With Cami’s fate decided by the end of the episode, we should be done with drama, and yet we face another tough blow…Remember to rate, review, and share, brothers!Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @doppelgangerspodcast!See y'all next year!
It’s NOLA Music Days, and Lucien takes the occasion to make some big moves. He “proposes” to Aurora with serum, then kidnaps Klaus to lure out Elijah. Unfortunately for Lucien, a number of things are working against him - Aurora doesn’t want him, and both Klaus and Elijah have shooters! Meanwhile at St James Infirmary, Kol gets worse and attempts to fix the hex. We end the episode with another bite from Lucien spelling danger for one of our main characters. Plus, Stephanie gets a shout out!Remember to rate, review, and share, brothers!Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @doppelgangerspodcast!
Lucien is now officially a villain, so he takes a trip to a familiar place to reveal the truth of the beast perhaps! Elijah and Finn follow him, and Elijah learns empathy for his boring brother while they run into a familiar face that they are not thrilled to see. Davina and Kol help track down Freya, revealing some troubling news about Kol. Klaus and Hayley continue their investigation of Kingmaker, and find one office building has some surprising information which opens up a whole new type of lore. Finally, an unexpected death leads to a funeral, while we discover that someone else escaped their “grave”…Remember to rate, review, and share, brothers!Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @doppelgangerspodcast!
The white oak bullet is back in play, in the possession of a new character with a bump-it. Her first order of business? A high-tech auction! Former computer science minor Josh leads a crack team to get the bullet back. Meanwhile, the Mikaelsons hole up at the compound until the white oak is retrieved - joined by Davina and Lucien. Davina uses the opportunity to get revenge on Finn, and Lucien uses the opportunity to flirt with Freya (and maybe even something more nefarious). The Mikaelsons fight over whether to destroy the white oak or use it for assisted suicide - an age-old question. Elsewhere, Klaus, Hayley, and Hope are on the run in wolf country, where they find evidence of an enemy right under their noses. We end the episode with a kidnapped Mikaelson and a witch hijacked by ancestors - uh-oh!Remember to rate, review, and share, brothers!Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @doppelgangerspodcast!
With the sire link broken, Klaus returns to his favorite emotion: paranoia. But he may not be incorrect, when he sees an old enemy has already made their way to New Orleans. Cami sees the struggle Klaus is facing, and relates enough that she finds a way top address her paranoia in her own, incredibly reasonable, way. Meanwhile Hayley is also taking matters into her own hands quite quickly, with her own vengeance in mind. Elijah and Marcel deal with the Strix while Josh asks what we are all thinking, why? Finally, love is in the air for many, with an emotional Haylijah scene, the long awaited Kolvina reunion, a gift to Vincent from the ancestors, and a bonus, and yassified, resurrection…Remember to rate, review, and share, brothers!Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @doppelgangerspodcast!
STEFAN SALVATORE HAS ARRIVED TO NEW ORLEANS!! While that is by far the biggest news of the week, it’s a busy week for all Mikaelsons and their orbit. Aya makes an alliance with Aurora for access to White Oak, and in return gives her access to a chamber de chasse with Tristan, Klaus, Elijah, a lot of chess pieces, and some lazy red herrings. We welcome Lucien back and say goodby to Aya, and even put Aurora in a wall. Davina finally attempts her multi-year goal of un-linking Klaus (despite the entirety of our heroes praying on your downfall). Davina stays winning when she finally brings Kol back. The only downside of this week? We have to see Rayna Cruz again and relive the Stefan debates of TVD season 7. Remember to rate, review, and share, brothers!Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @doppelgangerspodcast!
With the white oak in play and in the hands of probably the worst person possible, the effort to sever the link to the sire lines becomes Aya’s top priority, while Aurora focuses on using the white oak ASAP. Aurora uses Freya to lure Klaus and Elijah to the woods for a shooting, and she has 7 bullets so shouldn’t be hard for someone smart! Davina, aligning with her new coven, works hard to figure out the binding agent for the delinking spell, despite Kol desperately trying to stop her. Meanwhile, we finally get Hayley’s assistance with Cami’s rocky transition, but even a fun day fighting at St. Anne’s can get derailed when all of a sudden people want to rip out Hayley’s heart… yet again. Finally, Aya forms an… interesting alliance and we have some guesses about how that will go.Remember to rate, review, and share, brothers! Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @doppelgangerspodcast!
Cami continues on her quest bother Klaus this week, by withholding the White Oak in pursuit of her dark objects. The only problem? Turns out there are actually a ton of people who want the White Oak, including our Sister of the Week, Madison, who is working for a familiar face. Meanwhile, the Strix are distracted by what is a essentially a game of capture the flag that is rigged by Elijah and Marcel, finally giving Marcel an army to lead New Orleans with again. Lastly, Davina continues to align herself with the Sisters, which doesn’t look positive from where we’re sitting. People are feeling the trickster vibes this week all around! Cami is adjusting to vampire life and mostly spending time being a menace and tricking everyone into thinking she gaf. Klaus tries to keep her safe but all that does is piss her the hell off. Josh returns to town (!!!) and is immediately taken advantage of by Davina. But we forgive because we have to focus on the fact the Davina is definitely getting taken advantage of worse. Aya enlists Elijah to help gather information about the mysterious weapon that can kill him, with the help of a blonde witch and pool. The Mikaelsons do figure out what the weapon is, but someone just barely beats them to it…Remember to rate, review, and share, brothers!Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @doppelgangerspodcast!
God is so good this week as we get a Cami transition episode instead of a Cami funeral episode! And as if God isn’t good enough, Jackson dies and Tristan gets sent to the bottom of the ocean. Life is TOO good!Remember to rate, review, and share, brothers!Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @doppelgangerspodcast!
Raw emotions this week due to a truly gaggy final scene… but before we get there, it’s a Christmas episode! And if we’ve learned anything, that should not be something to celebrate in TVDU. After rescuing Rebekah from the bottom of the ocean, she faces a side effect of being put down. Freya also finds herself in danger, but is protected by Jackson (who finally realizes that a werewolf pack and a family are similar things) and Finn (who is still safely in his necklace). Marcel, who does not take holidays off, works back channels and gets a new regent appointed, much to Tristan’s chagrin. Finally, a couple Mikaelsons decide to take the prophecy into their own hands, while another Mikaelson finds that they can’t quite hold on to happiness. Oh also, Aurora is a bitch!Remember to rate, review, and share, brothers!Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @doppelgangerspodcast!
Everybody’s a hostage this week! Aurora holds Cami hostage in St Anne’s, where they discuss Klaus, beating men up, and bipolar disorder. Aurora realizes her worst fear may be coming true - Klaus don’t want her! Klaus teams up with Lucien to find Cami, but they quickly split off once it becomes clear that Klaus is concerned about Cami, but Lucien is more concerned about Aurora. Meanwhile at the compound, Tristan is held hostage and tortured for the longitude of Rebekah’s coffin. Marcel plays double agent and helps to free Tristan for the Strix, but keeps his loyalties to the Mikaelsons clear. Hayley also finally articulates her loyalties to the Mikaelsons when Mary arrives to guilt trip Hayley to the bayou. It’s Thanksgiving! Cami is spending it kidnapped, though not for long, and Jackson is spending it alone waiting Hayley to get back from the main dinner at the Mikaelson compound. Lucien, Tristan, and Aurora are invited over to blow up their secret alliance and get answers about Rebekah. Hayley and Freya torture Aurora for answers, but she is also tortured in a different way when she hears mention of Cami. Klaus questions Tristan, who tries to convince Klaus to follow his strategy to avoid the prophecy. Elijah questions Lucien, who realizes his current alliance may not be serving him. One thing becomes clear this week, the prophecy is very much moving along…
