Join us for a truly inspirational episode of the Green Sunrise Podcast as we welcome the incredible Sanjeev Mann, aka 'Supermann On Da Beat', and introduce our new co-host who bravely stepped in just hours before the studio event. Led by the main host, Paul Charlie Bhoy Quinn, this episode dives deep into Sanjeev's extraordinary journey.
Diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) at the age of 6 in 2002, Sanjeev's story is one of resilience and gratitude. Despite the challenges posed by DMD, Sanjeev has never let it hold him back. Instead, he has embraced life with an infectious positivity and a mission to make meaningful connections through his passion for music, creating a beat a day that resonates with so many hearts and lives.
Sanjeev is not only a talented musician but also a promoter, journalist, event organizer, content creator, and disability activist. Recognized as one of the UK's most influential people in the #DisabilityPower100, he is changing how we perceive disability, pushing for greater access and inclusion in all spheres.
In this heartfelt conversation, Sanjeev shares the unwavering support he received from his family – his mum, dad, and older brother – who always encouraged him to stay positive and never treated him differently. His activism work, fueled by love and an unyielding spirit, questions why negativity exists in the first place and advocates for solving problems with the resources we have.
Sanjeev also delves into his impactful work with BBC Social and the inspiring individuals he has met through his journalism efforts, particularly during the lockdown. His energy and passion for equity and inclusion shine through, making this episode a must-listen.
We at the Green Sunrise Podcast are thrilled to collaborate with Sanjeev in the future. Tune in, be inspired, and perhaps it's time we all start working on our beat a day!

I was invited on to forth valley radio in Tillicoultry Stirling by a friend Donna Davies, I jumped at this opportunity and was delighted to join for a chat about mental health. I got to pick 8 songs and this was very exciting and it gave me a new experience from a radio perspective and how this world works. Since doing the show I've been able to connect other people to Donna's Wednesday slot and it grows not only the positive vibes Donna is pushing but it empowers others to look at their own life and decide on what is next to do.
