Description

“The gospel is like a caged lion. It does not need to be defended; it just needs to be let out of its cage.” ~Charles Spurgeon

The Unchained Gospel is a movement geared toward awakening Christians to the reality of what it meant to be a Christ-follower in the 1st century AD, and what it should mean for us today. Following the model of the Apostles of proclaiming the name of Jesus in the public square, The Unchained Gospel is looking for a community of people to take the message of the gospel outside of the four walls of church building, where it is acceptable and easily palatable, and take it out to the streets and marketplaces with gritty, grassroots, and bold proclamations of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to let the lion (the gospel) out of its cage by boldly proclaiming the good news in a public setting, so that it can overpower and overthrow the work of the enemy and ultimately set the captives free from their bondage to sin and death.
